    I bought some knock off battery packs because who pays the full price for these OEM ones right? Well I was charging those knock off packs every two to three days (about an hour use per day), and after about a month they needed to be charged every day, not even two months in and they wouldn’t even stay charged for an hour so I caved and bought these stupid expensive OEM ones and holy hell, let me tell you. 20 days of battery life later the controller finally died and needed it first charge.
    These things last SO MUCH LONGER than those knock off packs it’s literally not even worth wasting your money on those things. Absolutely 100% spend the extra for these things.

    The only downside I can say is that they lasted so long that I actually couldn’t find my charging cable in time and ended up dying in Minecraft cause I couldn’t pause the game lol. Still have no regrets though, these are worth every penny.

    Decided To Grab One Of These For My Controller Because I Got Tired Of Buying/Charging Batteries, Can Just Plug It In At Night And It's Always Charged. At First It Wouldn't Charge I Thought It Might Be Defective, Would Only Charge For 5 Minutes And Stop And Showed Low Power. After Reading A Post About This Issue I Decided To Try It Before Sending It Back. First I Completely Drained The Battery, So The Light On The Controller Won't Even Turn On, I Removed The Battery From The Controller And Let It Sit For 30 Mins, Put It Back In The Controller And Started Charging It, It Charged For 45 Minutes And Now Says Fully Charged, Played For A Couple Hours Unplugged With No Issues. Just Incase Anyone Else Might Have This Issue Give It A Try. Recommended.

    I was honestly expecting issues with the amount of people who left bad reviews but I guess I got a good unit so your mileage may vary. I've owned the battery pack for a month now and only needed to recharge twice. Fore reference, I spend between 3 to 4 hours with the controller on most days, sometimes less if I'm playing keyboard+mouse games.

    It recharges in no time at all, allowing me to go back to Bluetooth mode on my Series X controller. I use it on my PC so having a USB cable darting off the top towards me is not ideal, hence the need for these batteries. Should work just fine with an Xbox as well.

    I had to put at least 5 layers of tape before it finally worked with the controller and even then there are still problems with the occasional disconnect in the middle of pretty normal, casual gameplay.
    Once I got past that, it's actually a pretty solid battery pack, lasting me a good long while before needing a full charge.

    EDIT: Okay, after only 2 months it has fully stopped charging after having it's awful connection issues. For what you pay for, this wasn't worth it in the slightest.

    I've used Microsoft's earlier iteration of this charger (the mini USB type connector that is on Xbox One controllers) since 2016 and now this iteration with my Series X since November of 2020. This thing has never failed, always charges (I charge it over night or when things are downloading and I'm not playing), and the included cable even works with PC. I assume that last point is probably a no-brainer, but this means you don't need a special cable for PC, you can simply use the included one and then switch using the controller on Xbox whenever you want.

    I don't get all the 1 star reviews. Maybe these are the type of people that leave their cables and controllers around for their pet rats or children to chew on, but I keep my stuff out of reach of the kids and have never had a problem.

    For the record, I have used an off brand rechargeable battery pack in the past 5 years on one of my controllers and it would frequently disconnect or not hold a charge. I will continue to buy Microsoft's proprietary offerings for accessories because I know they will work out of the box with their systems.

    ao vai se arrepender. Para jogatina casua ouso dizer que pode durar um mês inteiro, levando em consideração cerca de uma hora e meia de jogo, algo por aí. Mas acho que jogando mais deve ter uma semana ou três dias em uso intenso. Vale cada centavo por ser ORIGINAL e durar bastante, não precisando usar pilhas descartáveis nem recarregáveis, um incômodo e desperdício.
