    REVIEW - XINLIYA 3/8" Car Disc Brake Piston Caliper Tool

    I have not had to deal with calipers that require twisting until this year, normally it would just be decompressing the cylinder. Saw this and it does make the job easier, I first used some pliers, which works, but not as nice to work with as using a ratchet. The quality is cheap, I have seen these in many places, so don't ever pay too much for them, otherwise they work and should last a while for the DIYer doing backyard brake jobs.

    I chose this XINLIYA brake piston caliper tool for use on my 2009 grand caravan and 2012 challenger. A very simple and basic tool, it's essential for rear-caliper brake pistons that need to be "screwed" back into the caliper to reset the parking brake. Doing so makes room for the new pads and thus, without it, you'll never get those new pads in.

    It's a tool that I'll only use once every couple of years but an indispensable one at that. Simple, basic and works great!
