The plastics are excellent, really quite thick and good quality. I'm tempted to say they are better than the original ones. The fittings matched up perfectly and should provide a significantly longer life for your vacuum (DCV580, in my case). The full stretch length is close to about 5 feet 6 inches, and the retracted length is two feet. The price is great. If your vacuum is in good condition, it's a good investment and easy to recommend.

    Picked up to replace a broken hose for my DeWalt vac and this connected and worked perfectly. No noticeable quality drop-off as can be the case with 3rd party parts. Hose is thick with great stretch, fittings feel quality and engage smoothly, and the function is as original. Recommended.
