I've been fortunate enough that I haven't had to test this out properly, but I will try to give my opinion on this as best as I can.
I just believe that this is a very useful item, and should be in every vehicle. Whether you have a spare tire or not, this can come in handy. This is a lot easier to do than changing a tire, which not everyone can do or is able to at the side of the road. All they need with this device is connect this and a tire pump to the tire, inflate and then they could get back on the road.
It is important to note that this is not meant to be a permanent solution. This is merely a quick fix that allows you to drive somewhere for a proper fix.
The recommendation is 200km, and not to exceed 80km/h. This should be more than enough to address most scenarios.
The ad says it can be used for up to 6mm but the box and bottom only says 5mm. The discrepancy is minimal, and in most cases, you can't really measure the puncture on the side of the road. Unless it is a long cut or gash on the tire, I feel it is worth trying to see if it fixes the issue.
One downside of this however is that it is only for one tire. So if the situation is a double puncture like I once had before, then this is not enough to get out of that situation.
But overall though, this is a good standby product to have in the car. There's always a danger of getting a flat tire, and this is just a great way to be able to help yourself and not get stranded.
