Love this game and I cannot recommend it enough for board game lovers. But be prepared- it’s complex to learn at first. It took a bit to figure out all the rules for us - as each character is so different. However after watching a YouTube video of a group playing, everything clicked and it has been so much fun to play. We’ve played it 7 times in 2 weeks as 2 players. Every character is so different it is a brand new and challenging game each time, playing it every other night neither of us is board. My BF isn’t even a board game fan and he’s the first to pull the game out right after supper asking if we can play. When you match up different characters against each other it’s a whole new world (pun intended). I can’t wait to play it as a group, excited just thinking about what a challenge 4 players would make it. Basically it’s like each player has 2 roles: one as the villain in their own story line, but equally as important is being the hero against your opponent in their story line (fate cards). So clever!!
The set is beautifully designed. It follows the story lines of the Disney movies so well which gets me pretty excited when we get to certain ‘scenes’. Takes about 45m - 60m to play as 2 and works great for two players. I would recommend watching some YouTube videos to get the concept as it’s really complicated at first but once you get the hang, Ive never played a game like it. Fantastic.
