    Die Kanadische Krimiserie über Inspektor Gamache ist einfach spitze. Im Grunde ist jeder Band super spannend und tiefgründig und fesselnd. Louise Penny ist eine sehr gute Schriftstellerin in dieser Kategorie. Man wird süchtig nach den Büchern.

    Eibe absolut lesenswerte Krimireihe, die sich von cosy crime zu absoluter Spannung entwickelt. In Band 10 ist es aber too much... zu viele Zitate, Interpretationen, Bücher und Parabeln.... das wirkt ACHTUNG SPOILER auf der Suche nach Peter Morrow arg konstruiert...
    Es geht nur um Gedichte, Bilder Literatur und Zitate, Bedeutungen.. und alle Protagonisten sind auf demselben Wissensstand und schmeißen mit Bedeutungen und Deutungen aus sämtlichen schöngeistigen kulturellen, künstlerischen Disziplinen um sich herum, dass es nur noch eine komplett an den Haaren herbeigezogene story ist.
    Beauvoir verliert seine Bissigkeit und wird fast zum Kunstkenner. Reine-Marie sollte sich dringend emanzipieren und zu guter Letzt braucht das Ermittlerteam eine 20jährige Lehrerin, die sich ganz zufällig mit Asbest auskennt und sämtliches Allgemeinwissen dazu einer komplett unwissenden und Hörer- und zunehmend genervten Leserschaft präsentiert.
