I bought it to secure valuable belongings in a hotel room. The quality of the materials is not worth 100 CAD. The reset and camera on and off buttons at the back are very weak. The notification lights at the back are unclear and don't work correctly.
I have to reset the device daily because it is disconnected from WiFi, making it unreliable.
The manual is not practical. You have to find all the features by yourself if you are locky.
It doesn't work without wireless. Connecting to wireless in hotels is not easy for these devices, and it is useless if you cannot connect to wireless.
The website mentions the video format is AVI, but it is not. It is XX.media, which is encrypted; you cannot open any of the recordings on the SD with a laptop.
I love the design and quality, but without the minimum requirement, you can buy only a digital clock for a maximum of 25 CAD. You can find another one much cheaper than this and with better features.
It is a good product if you want to use it at home and always connect to the same wifi.
