I bought this 11.26" wireless CarPlay screen for my mum’s 2012 Toyota Highlander, and overall, it's been a fantastic upgrade. It auto-connects via Bluetooth as soon as the car starts, and works flawlessly with both my iPhone and Pixel 9. The large screen is bright, responsive, and perfect for maps, music, and hands-free calls.
The built-in 4K dash cam is an awesome bonus, and the 1080p backup camera included adds even more value. I connected it to the car speakers using the AUX port, and the sound is clear and reliable.
What I don’t love is the lack of a ball-and-socket joint on the mount. It really limits placement options. I originally wanted to mount it to the CD slot like I’ve done with other units, but this design doesn’t allow for that kind of flexibility.
Aside from the mounting limitation, this unit delivers a ton of functionality for the price. If you’re looking to modernize an older car with wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, a dash cam, and a big screen—all in one—this is still a great buy.
