I¡¯ve never owned a pro controller for the Switch but I wanted to try one as my large hands cramp up with the Joycons. When I saw this third-party version, it seemed like great value so I decided to order it and give it a try. It works really well and I love playing with it!
The controller arrives in a medium sized cardboard box. Inside the box you get the controller, a USB C to USB A charging cable, a USB A dongle for connecting to a PC, and a little instruction booklet. The controller has a great weight and feel to it and has some additional buttons over a traditional pro controller. Specifically, there¡¯s a turbo button on the front, a programming button on the back, and also a button on the back for changing the color of the RGB lighting around the joysticks (or turning it off entirely).
The design is very similar to the pro controller and it felt very comfortable in my hands. Connecting to the Switch was easy as I just used the wireless button on the back to get it to sync up and the Switch recognized it right away. The buttons all feel solid and the joysticks are very smooth. It didn¡¯t need much of a charge out of the box and after playing for several hours on the first day, it didn¡¯t even go down below 75%, so the battery is very good. The vibration function was also great as it was noticeable but not excessive like some third party controllers.
As far as PC connectivity, after I plugged in the dongle and pressed the wireless button, my Windows 10 PC recognized the connection almost immediately. You can also have it plugged in and charging while using it and if you need a longer cable you can just use any compatible one you have at home, which is nice.
Overall, this is a great third-party controller for the Switch and its great that you can also use it on PC. This gives it really good value and the fact that it works so well out of the box with no joystick or button issues makes me really happy I got it. If you¡¯re looking for an solid third-party controller, I can definitely recommend this one!

- Reviewed in Canada on June 5, 2025The N300 wireless controller has genuinely impressed me, especially as someone who plays a lot of FPS games and previously thought standard controllers were the gold standard for precision. The difference in accuracy was immediate and noticeable, thanks to its Hall Effect thumbsticks. Because these work on electromagnetic sensors instead of physical contact points, there¡¯s no risk of stick drift¡ªsomething I¡¯ve had issues with on other controllers over time. The analog precision is outstanding, and the added option to eliminate all dead zones (via a simple button combo) makes it feel incredibly responsive, especially for shooters where every twitch matters.
In terms of connectivity, the controller gives you plenty of flexibility. You can use it wirelessly via Bluetooth, through the included USB dongle, or wired if you prefer. What¡¯s especially nice is the dual Bluetooth modes: one that mimics a Switch Pro controller and one that mimics an Xbox controller. This means it¡¯s compatible with a wide range of devices, including PC, Android, and iOS. Switching between modes is easy, and pairing is quick.
Build quality is solid, with a satisfying weight and RGB lighting that gives it a modern, customizable look. It also includes macro buttons on the back for advanced users, and input latency is nonexistent from my experience. It feels as responsive as any premium controller I¡¯ve used.
My only real complaint lies with the companion Keylinker app. While it allows customization of button layouts and stick behavior, it asks for far too many permissions¡ªthings like GPS location and full network access just to reassign buttons. That felt excessive, and thankfully the app isn¡¯t required to enjoy the full feature set of the controller.
To sum up, the N300 is a feature-rich, high-performance wireless controller at a reasonable price point. It¡¯s versatile, easy to set up, and thanks to the Hall Effect sticks, should be future-proof against the dreaded drift. I¡¯d rate it 4 out of 5. It would be a perfect score if not for the app overreach. For anyone seeking accurate, reliable control¡ªespecially in FPS games¡ªit¡¯s absolutely worth trying.
