How many controllers can this USB adapter connect to at a time?

One controller at a time. If you wish to use multiple controllers at a time, you would need to use multiple adapters.
When I plug the USB adapter into the Switch, which is successfully connected but nothing happens, what should I do?

Please make sure the “Pro Controller Wired Communication”in System Settings on your Switch is on.
If I connect Wii Classic to my Wii Remote, can I use the adapter to connect my Wii Remote to my Switch?

Yes, you can. You can connect any Wii Remote compatible controller to your Wii Remote, and then connect your Wii Remote to your Switch via our USB adapter.
Can I wake up my Switch with my PS5 and PS4 controllers? Does the headphone jack on my PS5 or PS4 controller work?

No, you can not. The headphone jack does not work.
Does it work with Switch on both hand held and docked modes?

Yes, it does. For hand held mode, you just need to use a USB Type-C Male to USB-A Female OTG cable to connect to our USB adapter.

I am using it for switch + xbox controller and here are my steps:

1) Switch: Settings - Controllers and Sensors > Pro Controller Wired Communication = On
2) Pair XBox controller - press tiny button in the front of xbox controller until xbox button flashes, then press the 8bitdo button that's already inserted to switch until blue-light flashes. Wait until both xbox and 8bitdo lights stop flashing.
3) Switch: Back to home page > Controllers > Find Controllers

Once that's done, the rest is the same as the switch controllers setup.

I'm using this adapter with my 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless controller in a switch 2 and it's working great. I've only used it for like an hour, but everything is working and if something changes I'll update this review.
It is important to know that the adapter doesn't come ready to work, or at least mine didn't. I had to go to the 8 bitdo web page and download the firmware installer and then update the firmware in the adapter. I spent quite sometime trying to pair the adapter and the controller before realizing the adapter had it own software.
The fact that the adapter works with Bluetooth is great, because the adapter that came with the controller is 2.4, so I can switch between them pretty seamlessly.
The USB Type C adapter is a really nice addition too.
