I can't believe it. I did a good check over was so happy the glass wasn't broken because the box was so beat up that it came in. I got it all ready to put together and notice the shelf is missing a slice. so... changing my review from a 1 star to 4 stars because the cabinet itself is such a good quality compared to other cheap put together cabinets I've purchased. it's solid and not wobbly , the back uses actual screws and not little tack nails. the legs are solid. I love this cabinet. 4 stars because there's a piece out of the shelf. and customer service replied to me within hours of me contacting them

    For those looking to buy this item, let me assure you that other reviews stating how hard the instructions are to follow might not have put together furniture before. If you’re familiar with building furniture, you will have no problem following the directions. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It would be helpful to have a second person to hold the door while installing the hinges, but I was able to do it solo by resting the door on the top of the packaging box.

    I also had only one small nick on a shelf that needed covering; again, something I am not surprised by in this type of finish. My wood and glass arrived in good shape.

    And finally, the top shelf is indeed adjustable, even after you install the door. I’ve just removed mine to make it easier to do a final cleaning of the glass and it was simple to lift out and replace. There would be no problem changing the location of the shelf supports later.

    Just two observations:
    Remove all stickers that identify the pieces as you put together the cabinet. I made the mistake of leaving the “F” sticker on the side of my shelf, thinking it would be hidden. But I forgot that the side of the cabinet is glass, so you can see it!
    And to the manufacturer, the silver handle is nice; it’s a pity the door hinges are bronze. It would have been good to have matching metals. Most probably not everyone will notice this, but I did.
    In all, I am very happy with the cabinet and it’s a good deal for the price.

    This item was delivered in a box that basically had to be destroyed to get to the pieces. Until in the extensive process of putting the cabinet together we did not see a broken joint (which we had to screw to hold together), scratched glass panels, several small chips to the wood and one 4 inch strip of black wood thankfully on the underside of a shelf I used black marker to cover. 鶹 stresses its prompt delivery but this this one of several recent item received damaged. The other items small and returned. This one too big and too much work to unasemble, find a large enough box and return. I am not pleased and disappointed with the product and with 鶹 for such low quality item.
