    I don't mind that it's plastic but the numbers are missing on some of the tiles because the printing is not even close to being centred. I bought this to play with my 6 and 7 year old, thinking that the tile lock feature would be easier for them. The pieces fit but we can't play properly because we can't tally up the word scores. It's ok for now at their age but I'm really disappointed with the quality of this set.

    Just the job. Nice chunky tiles, don't feel at all fragile, neither does the board. Had the original many, many decades ago and it was always frustrating when the tiles started to degrade and lose their pegs. This revamp has been turned on its head and the pegs are actually little bobbles on the board, so that won't happen now. The box isn't as strong as they were in the olden days, but I think that doesn't really matter. Excellent. Quick delivery too.
