    The garage of my condo was recently broken into, so I bought this (Club 2100) as a precaution. The unit is hefty and sturdy, and material quality is superb. It fits my Honda CR-V and is quick and easy to apply on the steering wheel. Comes with 3 keys with special round notches, not your regular teeth bittings, which supposedly deters replication.

    The Club has a reputation so you know what to expect. This model is labelled for SUV or Truck. It is only 1.5 inches longer than the LX 1100 on the handle end, so it is good for cars. All other parts including the hooks are identical in sizing. The key and lock mechanism is better than standard model. I reccomend this model over both the LX series and standard series.
    I do not like the yellow double J hook model. It will not fit every steering wheel and cannot be mounted in reverse to point keylock towards dash. This is reccomended to make picking key harder . Also when double J hook model is mounted, it is easier to grab center and pull, pry and bend .

    I'm in an area where there alot of thefts for Dodge Rams and I specifically bought this because of "the club" name recognition (been hearing about it since I was a kid in the 80s). So far so good and will give a 4/5, however some points I'd like to mention for improvement:

    1) Its convenient that you simply lock it into place without the need for the key, but sometimes it slides up a little too much before applying it, thus I need to unlock it first (basically slide back to the starting point) then apply it to the wheel. I've since learned to hold it carefully when getting it out from my under my back seat before applying, but it would be nice if it were a little more rigid when sliding into lock.

    2) It's red, but not bright bright red. I'd prefer it be a neon brightness or something that's very easily visible. Right now, even with my pot lights shining on my driveway, a thief has to look carefully inside to see it.

    3) I wish the handles would come with cushions so that it won't wear out my leather steering wheel over time. I've made a makeshift cushion by applying two way tape and some microfiber fabric.

    Overall it seems better than the other ones I've researched.

    The bottom line is this is still a great product. It's my second The Club for a truck. My truck died (no oil pressure) at a stop light a couple blocks from home. My wife was driving it and a police officer happened to drive up and parked behind to protect her from being hit. I showed up immediately and after he complimented me on the condition of my '05 GMC Sierra Denali, he told me these are easy to steal, highly desired, and stolen a lot. He advised me to get The Club so my truck wasn't a soft target. That's all I needed to hear. The insurance replacement value of my truck if it's stolen isn't near what it's worth to me in so many ways. If I didn't value this truck, I would not have held onto it for 20 years. My first "car" was a truck, and I've always had one. I had The Club for my Toyota 4X4 Xtra Cab as well, but gave it to the buyer when I replaced it with this truck. I'm glad they haven't tried to "reinvent the wheel." It does what it's supposed to. The warranty paperwork could use a larger, clearer font. Bought one for my son's 4Runner, an '02 hand-me-down from my wife that runs as tight at 250K+ miles as it did when when it rolled out of the dealership. We take care of our vehicles and hold onto them, this is the logical next step.

    I bought a red Winner International SUV/truck Club for my Jeep back in 2000, and I liked having it on my steering wheel to convince potential thieves to look for an easier car to steal. Just last week, the key suddenly refused to turn in the lock -- after 23+ years of daily use, I guess it's entitled to finally retire, right?

    I got this new version of the SUV/truck Club this week and I like it so far. It seems really sturdy, with thicker dimensions than my old one yet surprisingly, it's easier to manipulate (expand/contract) and it's not quite as heavy as the old Club. It also contracts a little bit more than my old Club so it's slightly easier to stash away when I'm driving.

    I'm not a fan of the "locking without a key" feature, but it does unlock very smoothly with the included keys, so as long as I can easily unlock it, I guess it's OK. I always place it on the steering wheel with the lock facing away from me and towards the windshield for extra security. It fits my 2015 Subaru steering wheel just fine in that position and the bright red color looks pretty snazzy (if that matters to you).

    This version comes with *3* keys that cannot be duplicated, and you have 30 days after purchase to submit the warranty paperwork.

    So far, so good. If I get anywhere close to the same 23 years of service out of this new Club as I did the old one, I'll be delighted!

    UPDATE: I still dislike the auto-lock feature because if you're not careful when you remove from the wheel, it can easily slip into the expanded position and you'll have to unlock it again to compress it back down to stash it away (annoying!). The solution: a dog collar with an easy-release clip, just long enough to fasten around the 2 hooks to keep the Club from expanding during handling or storage. Woof!

    It works as expected, although no one has tried to steal my truck yet. It is easy to set up and take down every day. I can set the bar aimed between my seat and console so that the steering wheel is locked until it is removed. I am able to get into my truck without unlocking it. Gives extra piece of mind.
