I am a post secondary instructor who teaches in a big room. To save my voice, I got this so I wouldn't have to tell. I have a quiet voice to begin with and I've injured my voice box in the past. I did an anonymous poll after using it for one class and every response said they liked me using the microphone. One mentioned the sound sounded a bit artificial but they still preferred the microphone. My one small piece of criticism is that there is a slight delay between saying something and the speaker so I sometimes hear myself speaking but I have gotten used to it.
