    6/28/22 just planted the seeds today. I also bought a bag of Pennington Northeast Garden WIldflower Seed Mixture for $6.97 for 24 oz but like several reviewers have said, the cheap bag had lots of filler with some seeds. This product is ALL seed. No filler.

    I went for simple. I have a stretch of grass on a hill that I no longer want to mow, so I let it grow and I'm planning to fill it in with wildflowers and lilies. We have plenty of deer here, so I'm going with a variety hoping some of the plants are not tasty to the deer and so will survive their munching.

    Simplest method: I jammed a hand trowel in the ground, moved it back and forth to open a crevice and dropped a few seeds inside. Then I pulled the grass back over it and will let the sun and rain do the rest. We've been having warm days interspersed with rain every few days so hopefully these sprout and take off.

    For a comparison, I hand tossed the remainder of the Pennington bag into two other grassy areas so I can see if the wildflowers will grow via the hand toss method relying on nature and water to get them down to ground level where they can sprout under the shade of the grass around them.

    We don't have dense, chemically fertilized grass here. Just whatever grows wild. So there's room for sprouts of other things to come up. Mostly rocky clay soil here but since local wildflowers have taken hold on their own, I'm hopeful about these newly-introduced seeds.

    I'll try to remember to come back next summer with an update to show you photos of what grew from these two bags.

    4 stars for volume/variety of seeds with zero filler. If this growth phase goes well, I'll likely up it to 5 stars...keeping in mind I'm doing little to nothing to help them along. If they truly are wildflowers, then all they should need is nature to do its thing. This isn't a formal, neatly planted bed. Whatever comes up, comes up. Looking forward to seeing more color in that area of the yard next summer.

    Hard to rate right now. I planted some seeds and hope for some beautiful baskets in the next lil while. I gave it a 3 only because i was not aware the package was to 20 type of flowers all mixed together in the single pouch. But if the baskets flower and all is well this is 5 plus stars as the package will produce at least 20 baskets which go for at least $20 each at most places. I will report back in a month with photos and hope I can give this a 5 star rating
