I enjoy that my binoculars are covered and easy to excess. The straps in the bag gives the security that if you lose your grip they aren't going to the ground. The side case works great for my range finder . Storage pockets on the side of the bag are good for the small items I need to carry.
Material is quality so far 2 months into hunting season. The blaze orange rain fly is a nice touch, and the easy adjustments to size is relatively easy.
5.0 out of 5 starsa little inconvenient when shooting - otherwise a comfortable, well made pack

This is a great quality chest harness. I've had several Wild Cedar packs, and they have all been excellent quality and well made. This one in particular is a chest harness for binoculars, a rangefinder, and/or other items of your choosing. For hunting, this does get in the way a little bit for shooting. However, I really like using it for hiking and scouting hunting spots. It has separate pockets for a rangefinder and other accessories. I can wear a backpack while I'm wearing this. It fits comfortable and has a rain cover which is nice. When hiking in 60-70 degree weather, I don't get overly hot with it on. All in all, I've been happy with the quality, fit, and function of the pack.
4.0 out of 5 starsNice chest bag, camo, plenty of storage, but strap buckles could be better.

This chest pack is what I was looking for. I have binoculars, monoculars, night vision goggles, and a range finder that I use often for watching nature or target practice. I don't hunt, but the camo design helps me stay hidden when I'm watching the deer, coyotes, birds, or any other wildlife I encounter. The bag is well made and comes with a smaller range finder case. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the straps. The buckles are not the best. The straps seem to loosen up a little when you do a lot of moving around or bending over. This isn't a huge deal because im not usually moving around a whole lot when im wearing it. Besides the buckles, I like everything else about this chest pack. I used to carry my nightvision goggles on a neck lanyard but was always worried about scratching the screen. Now I don't have any worries. It is strapped to me, chest, and fully protected. The straps are pretty long, so this will fit a wide range of body types. I will probably cut the straps on mine so they are hanging so much. My father used to hunt, but now he's like me and just likes to observe nature. I'd like to get him a bag like this for his equipment. I am deducting a star for the straps loosening. It doesn't happen often, but if I bend over to tie my shoe or something, they will loosen up. There are elastic bands that help minimize the loosening of the straps if you adjust them right. I like that there are a few storage pockets for other things. There are mole style bands to hold flashlights, knives, or anything else you may want to clip or hang from the bag.
