Marked as a 5' light, it's only 3' with a little extension that just raised the light not actually illuminates. Colors are way off from other wiz bulbs I have and it's very noticeable. I tried to stick with the same brand but that won't last.

I really wanted to like the WiZ Pole Floor Light, but unfortunately, it’s been nothing but trouble. I could never get it to connect to the app, and there’s no clear way to identify the product once you’re in the app, making the setup process extremely confusing.

Cons:

Connectivity Issues: It was impossible to get the light connected to the app, which is supposed to be a key feature for a smart light.
Complicated Setup: Putting the light together was a bit more difficult than expected. The instructions were unclear, making assembly more frustrating than it should have been.
Lack of Guidance: There's no easy way to troubleshoot or identify the product in the app, which makes it feel poorly designed.
I’ve tried smart lights from brands like Eufy and Phillips, which were much easier to set up and use. This WiZ Pole Floor Light was just the most frustrating smart light experience I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I really like this floor light. Once you get it set up you can schedule it and customize colors, brightness, moods, etc. It could be a little brighter but it’s good enough to light up a corner of the room and reflect a bit off of the wall. Set up can be a bit of a pain and I am knocking it 1 star for only being able to connect to 2.4GHz wifi and occasionally disconnecting. I set it up “Turn On” and “Turn Off” shortcuts on my iPhone (with the Shortcuts app) and it was working great for a while but later the shortcuts worked inconsistently. Overall, this is a decent floor light for the price.

I like the idea of the LED colored lights that can create a vibe in a room, but the lights that span an entire room are too much for me and can easily cross the line of "sophisticated fun", into "teenager's room". I've been eyeballing these floor lamps for awhile now, but some of them are ridiculously expensive and some of them are obviously made really cheaply. When this one popped up on my screen it seemed like the answer to the middle road light I was searching for, and I grabbed it.

There were some frustrations in setting it up because threading the wires through the different components was trickier than it should have been, and once we had it all threaded and hooked up, a slight tug to tighten up any cord slack inside the base pulled the connection right out. We had to disassemble it and start all over again. Not the biggest deal, and we probably should have done it when we weren't so tired (and I was admittedly a little hangry). Either way, we did it, and we're happy with the results.

We didn't have any issues setting it up through the app, it was pretty easy to navigate. We've been playing with the settings and switching it up, and the fun colors have certainly been helping us cope with the sudden onset of some dreary and cold days. I'm still tinkering around with the app to figure it all out (the husband knows all about it because he's a lot more tech savvy than I am) so I'm not an expert as to how it all works at this point, but from what I've experienced so far, it's been a lot of fun.

I had planned on putting it in the corner of our dining room, but I like it so much that it's giving another lamp in the main living room some stiff competition.
