Helps bring up the iron levels. I've been struggling with anemia because of hookworms. Cleanses haven't been able to eradicate the hookworms, so I needed something to help my energy levels. This seems to help. I use a liquid iron now that works better since I couldn't really stand the taste of the molasses after a while. But I use it once in a while in cookies or beans and it adds a really nice flavor.

Found the lids on 2 out of the 3 leaked slowly, which was a bit messy. Not sure if it was caused during shipping or just if they are stored upside down or something, but 2 of the 3 had leaked through the seal when we got them, which was quite a mess to clean this off the bottles. Overall though, the value on this 3 pack is great and in general love the product.

This blackstrap molasses is a marvellous natural product for hair. Within 1 week of consuming 1 tablespoon of it with apple cider vinegar first thing every morning on a empty stomach and applying and leaving it on for an hour each time as a wash-off hair conditioner immediately after shampooing everyday, my mother's very dry, coarse, damaged, chemically treated and frequently coloured hair has certainly become healthier and shinier. She has also noticed that there is less hair fall after 1 week. I am equally pleased with the daily consumption and use of the molasses as a hair conditioner and I am hoping that it will help reverse the pre-mature greying of my hair, something which I read that blackstrap molasses is able to do upon continuous consumption and use after 3 - 6 months.

I couldn't be more delighted to have received my 3 bottles of molasses within a week of ordering :-) The package was delivered to me more than 2 weeks ahead of the estimated delivery date! However, upon opening the package, I found 2 bottles were pretty badly leaking and the sticky molasses were spilled in the zipped-bloc bag that it was sealed in and some of it also leaked out of the bag. The cause of the leakage was due to the white plastic caps not being tightly screwed on to the bottles. It would also have helped if the sealed covering on the mouth of the bottle was better sealed before the cap was screwed on.

Overall, my mother and I couldn't be happier with this product for consumption and hair use. To our delight, we have subsequently found the same blackstrap molasses that was sold about 60% cheaper per bottle in a local supermarket chain than what we had paid for our online purchase (including shipping charges) with �鶹��. So, we will be buying directly from our supermarket from now on.

When I was buying these at my local Sprouts store the caps were almost always on the loose side and more times than not the inner seal would be broken. I would check each bottle to find one that had a good seal. But now Sprouts quit selling the large bottle so I ordered from amazon, two bottles out of three leaked and had loose caps and seals which made a mess inside the box that also included a package of guitar strings in the order. The string package also had molasses on it. Great product and I am very happy with it ,but lousy tightening of the caps and bottle sealing from this company.

Helps menstrual cramps

I use molasses to combat menstrual cramps. Ever since I had a copper IUD put in my cramps became unbearable. I had tried soo many things to help but always ended up curled up around a hot pad barely able to function. I searched and searched the internet for tips but all I could find was the standard adviceL take ibuprofen before they start and exercise and don't drink caffeine and so on. None of which helped me. Then, after watching a hair tutorial on YouTube I saw a recommended video about menstrual cramps. In it the girl said she takes one tablespoon of black strap molasses a day and her cramps have gotten better and her period is shorter and lighter. So I figured I had nothing to lose and tried it. I've been taking a tablespoon every day for over a year now and they just keep getting better and better and better. It isn't an instant cure. You have to take it every day, even when you're not on your period, to get the most benefit. But each month it just keeps improving. The first month I did it helped, but it was still pretty intense. The second month was less intense. And so on and so on! I've tried different brands and they all help. But this brand seemed to help the most. You can take it mixed in with stuff if the taste and texture bug you. But I just drink a tablespoon straight every morning after breakfast. It's a miracle cure!
