I read a lot of the comments regarding leaking bottles. And, I guess I wasn't the only one. Bottle was well secured by a sort of tape over the top. Arrived on time, one to two days. The taste not the same as the one I bought in the store but I believe this one is better for you.

    This blackstrap molasses tastes great, and I’ve been using it in my coffee, which adds a nice flavor. It also feels like a healthier option, being rich in iron, magnesium, and other minerals, and it has a lower sugar content compared to regular sugar. The fact that it’s organic, fair trade, and non-GMO is another big plus.

    I find this product to be a good value overall. The only issue I had was with the recent purchase where some of the molasses leaked from the lid during shipping, but this hasn't been a problem with previous orders.

    I personally think molasses is really gross. However I purchased this as a remedy for constipation for my baby. I did not want to give laxatives and did a lot of research and found out that unsulphured organic molasses can work as a laxative in little ones. I have to say this is the only thing that really gets him going when he's backed up. It is a sticky gooey mess like all molasses but I do feel it is healthy and a great alternative to laxatives are other medications! If you're purchasing this to give to a baby or toddler I recommend giving it to them in the bathtub for easy cleanup. We also found giving it to him in a syringe was the easiest way for him to swallow it without spitting it out. In the beginning he didn't mind the taste and would take it off a spoon but eventually he stopped liking it.

    I have been using blackstrap molasses for my coffee on & off for the past 7 years in lieu of sugar. I like the taste of this product - not too overpowering & just the right consistency. Bare in mind that it does not taste like sugar by any means, but it is way healthier than sugar. Like anything, with consistent usage, it becomes a habit so I've gotten use to the taste & dark color of my coffee. It is also great for healthy bowel movements for anyone that struggles with GI issues. I use one teaspoon per large cup of coffee & the bottle lasts about a month.

    Just found out that it has a P65 warning because of what occurs in the high heat process. I've been using for years and have not found any repercussions because the same things of this Acrylamide is in lots of other produces like even Fry Fries and bread from heating. It just may be another ploy of keeping you from using it for its high iron, potassium, magnesium counts. Best electrolyte product I know to use to elevate muscles cramps from low electrolytes.

    Before I share my story, here's your info on Wholesome's Non GMO Blackstrap Molasses.
    Some reviews mention, you can get another brand cheaper in the store.
    That's true but it's not organic, or Non GMO & it's a smaller bottle.

    You can go to the store website right now & look it up. I did.
    I only consume sugar based products that are Non GMO so Wholesome was my only option.

    If you've never had this, you're thinking it's molasses.
    Sweet like honey, right? Nope.
    It's unfiltered and tastes like prune juice.
    If you do it straight, chase with oj.
    Kills taste & Vit C helps Iron absorption. Win. Win.

    However, if you want it for supplement purposes, mix with choc shake & gives a mocha flavor.
    Not mocha like your fave coffee spot but with cold water or milk, it's not bad.

    I use 'Purely Inspired" Chocolate.
    As Iron & Veggies is my focus, it's the only one that is Non GMO & gives actual Iron mg.
    All other labels give your Iron DRV but, not actual mg so, you don't really know how much your getting, especially if your anemic.

    After a week of taking a liquid Iron supplement, which did help my anemia,
    Oh Boy! did I get a Jump from Wholesome's Blackstrap Molasses.
    Seriously, best I've felt in months.

    Now, the cautionary tale about really paying attention to you.
    I have recently been diagnosed as anemic.
    Not a little, like add some iron to your diet and you'll be fine.
    Anemic like, light headed, want to pass out head spins,, muscle cramps & narcolepsy.

    In case you didn't know, bc I didn't, it's when oxygen leaves your blood,
    ergo the above feeling of your body being slowly suffocated.

    I have no one to blame but myself.
    I put work & others before my basic need to make time for myself,
    for something as a simple as downing a shake to survive.
    I've never been a daytime eater & drink so much water, rarely have an appetite.

    You must eat.
    Something plant based. Three times a day.
    Or you will feel like garbage & require months of a compromised quality of life.

    Quality of life isn't just words.
    It's things like being able to drive yourself. Walk more than 5 minutes. Catch your breath.
    You know, the things we do every day and never think about.

    So even if this is just preventative, especially for women who are prone to iron deficiency,
    I've done alot of reading & Blackstrap molasses is the super food of Iron.
    Luckily, Wholesome's brand is Non GMO & 95% Organic.

    its just molasses, not Blackstrap Molasses. There are multiple grades of molasses each getting cooked more and having a most intense flavor and bitterness. Blackstrap is the darkest and most bitter. This is just regular molasses. The printed factory label says so. someone stuck a blackstrap shipping id label on the bottom of the bottle to make it "blackstrap" . Nothing special inside. I actually got fooled on this from the 鶹, same product mislabeled as blackstrap about 2 years ago. It's comparable molasses with G****ma's ,but has a gritter texture. Enjoy!
