Product description

Rayplex offer 3 versions of it gelcoats. Repair Work Brushing is very thick and is used for repair work. It easily fills small chips and quoages without sagging Laminating. As the name implies Brushing gelcoat is brushed against a mould in the laminating process. Wrinkles or alligatoring is usually caused from too thin a gelcoat application. Two wet coats (15 to 20 mils total) will usually produce a wrinkle free surface. Spraying gelcoat is designed to be sprayed through a spray gun with a nozzle around 2.5MM or a spray gun pressure pot. Most often applied against a mould in the laminating process. Spray and Buff is designed for refinishing a gel coat surface. It will spray through a regular spray gun with a slightly larger nozzle. As the name implies will almost buff up to high shine with 80% less sanding . When sprayed in lays down very smooth without the orange peel effect you get spraying gelcoat.
