Westpoint Naturals Organic Black Sesame Seeds can be enjoyed raw, their flavor is amplified when they are toasted or roasted. Simply dry roast the seeds over low heat to enhance the flavor and take care not to burn them. Westpoint Naturals Organic Black Sesame Seeds can also be enjoyed soaked in a bowl of warm water for about 30 minutes. This helps soften them and improve digestibility. The soaked organic black sesame seeds are then strained through a fine mesh strainer and added to a blender or food processor to grind the seeds. The seeds will turn into thick powdery paste and release the natural oils, becoming sticky. Blend with honey for a sweet flavor or toasted sesame oil for a savory flavor
