Seems to be a decent drive at a good price point. I popped it into an iCan all aluminum drive enclosure to use as a file backup device and for Acronis Images. It just takes a few clicks in Windows 10's Computer Management console to get the drive set up. Large file transfer speed seems to top out around 230 MB/s, which is very good. Drive is quiet and runs cool at 36��C under load. It uses CMR recording technology, not the slower SMR. Very happy with it so far.

I decided to save some money by buying this drive used. Unfortunately, I did not save any money and just wasted time instead. I tested the drive and discovered it was defective upon arrival. It was advertised as used without its original packaging. What the description did not say was that it was used with no packaging. A plastic bag is not nearly enough to protect a delicate hard drive during shipping. The drive was returned and I received a full refund a couple of weeks later. I bought a new one directly from the manufacturer instead.
