Product description

Wellmark Chlorhexidine Spray is an antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal spray for dogs and cats to help manage superficial skin conditions associated with bacteria and fungi. This spray is meant for use in between baths to provide fast relief of irritation from skin conditions such as pyoderma, yeast dermatitis, ringworm, and hot spots.

Safety Information

Store in a cool, dry place (15°C-30°C). Do not freeze. Keep our of reach of children. Dogs and cats which are hypersensitive to any component of this formulation should not be treated with this product. For external use only. Should not be swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and consult your veterinarian. Animals should be monitored to prevent them from licking the treated area. If skin, eye or mouth irritation develops (redness, hypersalivation), discontinue and consult your veterinarian.

Ingredients

Chlorhexidine (as digluconate) 2% w/v. Water, Propylene Glycol, Benzyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 80, Fragrance

Directions

Step 1: Shake well before using. Determine spray requirement for your pet. Step 2: Apply 1 spray per 5 kg (10 lbs); the number of sprays may be doubled for long-haired dogs. Step 3: Brush the pet against the natural fur line and, holding the pump 30 cm (12 inches) from pet's body, so as to spread out the product all over the targeted area. May be used once or twice a week or as directed by your veterinarian for the specific skin disorder being treated.
