    I think that this device has been rebranded for candle making, but is not intended or effectively designed for it. It is basically a nonstick rice cooker according to the instructions that accompanied the plug in pot.
    The accessories, such as wicks, and sticks were good, it oddly came with a long metal stirring spoon, further convincing me that this is not a wax heating pot. (Since non stick pans always insist on not using metal utensils as it scratches off the coating) it appears that the seller just paired the wicks and accessories with the heating device to form a “candle making set”
    The wax didn’t heat evenly, even when I heated smaller amounts. The reason being that only the bottom is being heated the sides don’t appear to carry the heat. Also the rubber adapter ring does a messy job of pouring. I definitely wouldn’t use this on the high setting and even at the low setting while carefully supervised the wax quickly starts to smoke.
    I regret buying this item and do not recommend it.

    Melts 500gr of soy or paraffin wax in about five minutes (at lowest tenperature). It's fairly simple to pour the wax into containers. Safe to use, the plastic keeps one from burning.

    What is great for small crafters or people who are still still figuring out the candle business.it definitely helped me get started with making my first candle batch. I was able to make about 4 to 6 8oz candles with one pot and I am really excited to continue to use this!
