APPLICATION GUIDELINE

  1. Ensure surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry and dust free.
  2. Remove any traces of old sealant with silicone caulking tool.
  3. Unscrew the cap and peel off the seal on the fube. Apply nozzle supplied.
  4. Areas beside a joint can be masked with tapefor a neater finish (remove tape before sealant cures).
  5. Keeping the nozzle at a 45° angle, squeeze the tube to apply silicone into the joint ensuring contact with both surfaces.
  6. Smooth the sealant with the silicone caulking tool within 5 minutes of application. Replace cap on fube and clean out nozzle with water.
  7. Sealant will skin over within 30 minutes and cure in 24-48 hours. Avoid water contact untilsealant is fully cured.

APPLICATION TIPS & TRICKS

* Piease try it on a small area before use,and then use it normally if there is no abnormality.
* Depending on the use environment, it takes about 2-3 days to solidify. It is not easy to touch water during solidification.
* It cannot be mixed with any liquid and should not be used when frozen.
* If not used up after opening, you need to clean the tip cap with water before placing it, so that the tip will not be blocked by the residual grout paint, which will affect the next use.
* It is not recommended to use it below minus 10°C. Too low a temperature will affect the grouting paint effect.
* When the temperature is low in winter, the grout paint may become sticky. It is recommended to soak it in hot water before use.
* Precautions for product use: After tearing off the aluminium plastic film at the mouth of the tube, if it cannot be squeezed out (air enters and causes the silicone sealant at the mouth of the bottle to solidify, which does not affect the use of the product inside the tube), please remove the solid material at the mouth of the bottle and then it can be used normally.

Works. And it's black which isn't easy to find for some reason.
So used it on some outside windows and items that needed sealing up, where the black went better than bright white. The stuff is runnier than I expected, so if you're sealing a widish vertical gap, you might want to back it with something to grab onto so it doesn't run down. Doesn't require a gun, which is great if you're working in a cramped space. Mine came missing one nozzle, kind of annoying. Comes with cheap, but useful removal and application tool (easier than a box cutter). In the instructions it mentioned the caulking might become sticky if applied in the cold and to warm it up. I did this and had no issues (although might also why I found it a bit more runny). Not a huge amount of caulking for the price, but you get a free tool with it. Similar once I've seen on sale can be close to the total price, so not a bad deal.

    Its black and thats why looks very messy on baseboards. You have to squeeze very hard in order to apply it and that hurts the hands. Also didnt dry even in 3 hours.

    Having a bathroom I renovated about 10 years ago using black grout, of course black silicone sealant was required. Not certain why but an indoor, bathroom quality black silicone sealant was and still is a very hard/impossible(?) thing for me to source here in Canada. Until now. My contractor jumped through some hoops and got it from the US I believe when the reno was done. I had one area of my tiled tub surround release the silicone at the tile/tub meet about a year ago. This meant tub baths, no showers, for me until I could repair it. Well….I can now shower away as this product worked brilliantly for solving this issue. I found the kit contained everything (and more) required to do a start to finish job. Other than isopropyl alcohol that I use to ensure there is no film of anything left behind prior to masking and applying the silicone. I found the removal tool quite helpful but the application tool was terrible and I quickly abandoned it for the finger rubber which worker beautifully and kept my finger clean and silicone free. Had never used one before and wish they had provided more than the 2. I must go purchase more of these for future silicone jobs! They even provided tape, though I did find this a bit narrow so just doubled it up width-wise for my peace of mind. The screw on applicator tip was strangely big at its smallest, but it did work, so no major complaints there. But honestly I would have preferred a smaller option.
    As for the silicone sealant itself, this was a thick product, but not in a bad or hard to work with way. It applied similar to most other silicones I have used. It spread nicely and the finished job looks great! At the moment I can’t tell the difference between this new Wadities silicone and the prior existing. Hopefully this means a permanent match. So far no shrinkage, but for too soon for me to comment on cracking or durability. But so far so good and am confident with everything I’ve experienced with this so far. All this for a competitive price. The biggest win for me was this brand actually has a quality silicone, for bathrooms, in black. Yay!!

    This black caulk repair kit was perfect for my needs. I like that it comes with the tool you need to use it. Make sure you realise the quantity, this is not to make the caulk around anything but it's perfect to do small repairs. The tools, though, I kept and used for bigger caulk jobs! The caulk itself is easy to apply, dries well and sticks perfectly to the previous caulk where I didn't need to repair. It stays flexible and doesn't crack. It's waterproof. Good kit!

Finding a high-quality black silicone sealant was a win in itself, as it’s surprisingly hard to come by. The sleek black finish blended seamlessly with my dark grout and tiles, giving both spaces a professional, modern touch.

    The kit is thoughtfully equipped with tools like a grout removal scraper and a silicone applicator. The scraper worked brilliantly, making the removal of old grout a breeze. However, the applicator left me unimpressed—it didn’t quite cut it for precise work. Thankfully, the included finger rubbers saved the day. These nifty little tools allowed for smooth application and neat edges without any mess. I only wish the kit included more of them—they were surprisingly handy.

    The silicone itself was thicker than expected but applied smoothly and dried without any shrinkage or cracking, which is a major plus. The provided tape helped create clean edges, though I doubled it up for added precision. One downside was the drying time, which was slower than some other brands I’ve used, so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry.     Ce mastic est très pratique pour camoufler les défauts sur de la faience.
    Par contre le mélange donne une couleur qui est pas top et du coup ça peut se voir selon la surface que l'on rafistole.

    An mehreren Wänden haben sich bei mir im Keller unschöne Setzrisse gebildet. Vergangenes Jahr habe ich diese mit viel schwarzer Farbe so dick überstrichen, dass diese Risse geschlossen waren. Leider sind nach einem Jahr die Risse größer geworden und die Farbe ist aufgeplatzt. Daher habe ich diese silikonbasierte Dichtmasse bestellt. Die schwarze Farbe passt zur Wandfarbe, dank der Zähigkeit waren die Risse einerseits schnell verschlossen, andererseits ist die Paste flexibel genug bei Rissvergrößerung nicht zu reißen. Die Verarbeitung ging mir gut von der Hand und das Ergebnis überzeugt mich: Ich vergebe vier Sterne!

    Die Lieferung besteht aus zwei Tuben je 120ml schwarzer Silikonmasse., inkl. Zubehör wie Abklebeband, Spritztüllen und mehr.
