I have a few left over so I'll likely pop those into some of my larger houseplants to try. Seems to me to be a well made product.

    I used old wine bottles, old juice bottles, and old glass vinegar bottles in these watering stakes. They worked well and kept my indoor plants watered for more than 2 weeks. I bet they would work well outdoors too. I read that these were fragile so I pre-dug the holes in the dirt in the pots and had no problem with any stakes breaking. Unfortunately these are quite big so I could not use them in pots that were smaller (less than 6" in diameter).

    I had a small crack in 2 of my spikes, I thought they might still work, so I soaked them and carefully placed them in the ground. They are okay until I put the wine bottles in the ones with cracks, they broke within a minute from the weight of the bottle.

    The 8 other spikes seem to be working great!
