The Waterford Lismore pattern is a stunning combination of brilliance and clarity. Elegant and versatile, these Lismore Goblets can be used for serving wine, water or juices. The intricate detailing of Lismore's signature diamond and wedge cuts enhance color and clarity whatever their contents, while the comforting weight of Waterford's hand-crafted fine crystal produces stunning drinkware that defines traditional styling even while transcending it. Combine quarter cup ammonia with a mild lemon detergent. Rinse in clean water and air dry on a rack. Clean vases and decanters by filling them half-full with moderately hot water, a small amount of mild detergent, two tablespoons of white vinegar or ammonia and 1/2 cup uncooked rice. Swirl the rice around for a few minutes to remove residue.

    I had six of these glasses, but I broke one. I wanted to complete the set, but could only find them in twos. So I bought these and I am very happy with the transaction and product. The problem with some patterns is that they are discontinued after a time, and then, you have to pay exorbitant prices to replace a broken item from another owner. Waterford Lismore has, so far, had longevity to go with elegance, beauty.

    I bought these to replace 2 that got damaged from a set of 8 I purchased in 1983. I was very very disapointed when these arrived. They are simply not the same quality as the older ones. The name is the same perhaps but they are very different Goblets. The Lismore design is sharply cut into the crystal on my older ones while on these new Goblets the design edges are not sharp but muted and rounded. I am thinking that the goblets are not cut crystal but poured. I would not advise anyone buying these to complete or replace an older set.
