I have a serious lady boner for Australian licorice and I'm picky as hell about it. Kookaburra and Wiley Wallaby are the only one's that don't completely screw it up, but this was really disappointing. The flavor was "muted and artificial". I can't think of any other way to describe it accurately. I won't be splurging on these again any time soon. For shame! Wiley Wallaby! For shame!

I got them because someone I know said they were so good. They’re ok. The flavor is fine, the chewiness is ok. Not sure if I had higher expectations for it, but they were just ok to me. They’re kind of a cross between a chunky version of twizzlers and red vines but more on the twizzlers side.
3.0 out of 5 starsIt tastes better than twizzlers?

I want to first address the fact that I'm not a liquorice lover. I was recommended to try this licorice because I was told this candy was supposed to be amazing even for non-liquorice fans and its "deliciousness" would convert people like me to this particular brand.
It definitely tastes a little better than twizzlers, but I guess I was expecting a vast difference where it tasted more like the non-liquorice candy I prefer.
In one moment while chewing, it tastes exactly like strawberry twizzlers and in another instance within the same chewing session, it tastes better- like a little more citric acid is added in these candies.
If you love/like twizzlers I'd recommend this for you. It's also softer.
