About the author

First and foremost a comic creator, Kirkman has seen groundbreaking success in the adaptation of his comic book titles into major franchises in all forms of content. In 2010, his Eisner award winning series, The Walking Dead, was developed into an AMC television series. It has become a worldwide phenomenon as the highest-rated basic cable drama of all time and is the #1 show on television among the coveted 18-49 demo. The property has also been extended into a blockbuster game franchise, licensing business and ongoing publishing success.
Kirkman also serves as consulting producer of The Talking Dead, the popular talk show hosted by Chris Hardwick that deep dives into each week’s episode of both The Walking Dead and its companion series Fear the Walking Dead. Kirkman is co-creator, writer and producer of The Walking Dead’s companion series, Fear the Walking Dead.
He is also executive producer of the AMC series Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics, and the Korean pre-apocalyptic drama, Five Year. Kirkman’s popular demonic-exorcism comic, Outcast, was adapted, produced and airs on Cinemax.
For the big screen, Kirkman will produce Invincible based on his long-running popular comic book. The project will be written, directed and produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg for Universal Pictures. Other credits include AIR featuring Norman Reedus and Academy Award nominee, Djimon Hounsou.
Additional Kirkman comics include Super Dinosaur, Battle Pope, Astounding Wolf-Man, and Thief of Thieves.
Robert is also the Chairman of Skybound Entertainment. Robert, an advocate for creator rights, co-founded Skybound alongside his longtime business and producing partner David Alpert in an effort to ensure creators are able to maintain their intellectual property rights and creative control.

- Reviewed in Canada on March 7, 2018Verified Purchasestar rating is for the content. Product arrived timely and in good condition as usual when it comes to comic books on 鶹. As far as the comic is concerned the focus on Negan and the Whisperers is probably the best that the comic has been in quite a while as I found that it had stagnated. I am finding that Negan's seemingly dynamic character has given a breath of new life to the Walking Dead

5.0 out of 5 stars Whisperer war
Verified PurchaseIt's a great read but it left something to be desired. I think it's cause nothing is gonna top all out war. This one does have some new ideas like how Rick is leading the fight against the whisperers but he stays behind the walls and keeps things and people in order and puts Dwight in charge of the fighters. And rhis trade is called whisperer war but it does end with a cliffhanger.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful comics
Verified PurchaseThese are beautiful mamga comics. The compendium editions are the best to own as they are reasonably priced and you can collect the set of books by collecting 3 compendium in this series. But, since this is sn ongoing series, the next compendium will be after around 20 books... so I am now collecting the volumes after vol 25. If you wish you can wait for the next compendium or read like me if you cant wait so long!

5.0 out of 5 stars Relentless action!
Verified PurchaseSo.. you've got this far and you know sometimes these comics can be dull..dull..dull, but bloody hell!! This issue is fg relentless! Serious cover to cover action!!
So we were left wondering what Negan's intentions were in volume 26, can Rick trust him yada yada..
In volume 27 Rick hasn't got much choice other than to trust Negan. There's fire, deaths, bites and injuries aplenty and people are getting pretty pi**ed off with one thing or another (which is standard for walking dead) but I think what I liked most is we see Negan reunited with the love of his life.. which reveals a little snippet into this badass character's pre apocalyptic existence..
