- Reviewed in Canada on May 7, 2025Verified PurchaseWe bought this for our 5yr old daughter at the time when she broke her leg and it worked very well.
- Reviewed in Canada on March 27, 2024Verified PurchaseIt was so hard to find crutches that work for small kids. These are perfect for our son, who is 108 cm (3 feet 6 in) tall {their advertised size is incorrect as they fit children shorter than description}.
They are adjustable and work on taller kids too.
Please note that there is a learning curve for young children to use crutches, as it requires coordination between arms and legs, while holding the crutches in their little hands. Our soon practiced for a few days before he we ready to walk on his own.
We also bought a knee rover, but he became an expert too quickly, and his school got worried he would run over other kids. So, at school he's been using crutches in the classroom, and knee rover for PE and washroom breaks.

- Reviewed in Canada on August 24, 2023Verified PurchaseThe sizing is way off on these. Kid is 45” and these are supposed to be for kids 48-54” tall. We’re on the 4’1” (49”) setting and they fit perfectly. So I’d say they are about 4” smaller than what’s said here. Which is great for us given that we needed tiny crutches but might not work for kids in the intended range as mentioned on the product’s page.
For reference, when I measure from floor to underarm, we’re at 33”. I’ve read that to be comfortable crutches should be about 2” shorter, so 31” in our case.
I’m taking a star off because they aren’t very comfortable under the arms, the rubber is harder than what’s used for local crutches I compared them to (which were too big for our kid but softer under the arms).

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend!
Verified PurchaseSanta brought these for my 4,6 and 7 year old children. My 6 year old daughter played with them CONSTANTLY! Unfortunately, my 4 year old son just broke his foot so these came in handy. They are sturdy and easy to adjust. He could use them for play at a higher setting but needs them at the lowest now that he is REALLY using them. He turned 4 in November and is in the 90% percentile for height (just to give you an idea). I highly recommend these for play or for need.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good!
Verified PurchaseMy 5 year old is 46" with a 33" measurement from floor to under arm/armpit. I bought the Child size. Paid extra for one day shipping. Arrived on time. Product pre-assembled and easy to adjust hand grips, as well as, product height. He's about in the middle of the adjustable range, so we will be able to use this again (should he try and do anything else foolish in the foreseeable future). Product seems sturdy, he just needs to get accustomed to proper crutch' usage.

5.0 out of 5 stars I was glad he had the crutches just in case he needed ...
Verified PurchaseI got these for my 7 year old grandson, who was injured in a toboggan accident. Well the first thing he did with them was to aim them at his younger brother as a machine gun!!! I said. "if you do that in school, you will end up in the principal's office!!". Oh well!! I was glad he had the crutches just in case he needed them. So I rate them as very good!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not for anyone over 48” tall. Good for anyone up to that height.
Verified PurchaseCrutches are fine, they do the job. The one issue is they are for a person with MAX height of around 48”. Our daughter is 48” tall, and we had to expand the crutches to full length. I can’t see how these would work for anyone taller than 48”.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too Short!! Sizing is incorrect
Verified Purchasebeware- too short! The quality of the crutches was great, but the sizing is off. My daughter is 52 inches (4ft 4in) and they were *way* too short for her- to the extent of being unusable, despite being listed as fitting up to 4'6". 鶹 made the return easy and I ordered the next size up (youth, not pediatric), which was supposed to fit 4'6" and up. When adjusted comfortably for her, she uses them at the setting marked 4'10". Several other reviews complain about this- I wish I had seen them before I ordered. I just saw the 4 star rating and one or two good reviews. But it looks like the sizing may run 6 inches off. That's a problem.
