Merritt Vale is the last of her kind—and the keeper of the only artifact capable of sealing the Rift between dimensions. If it falls into the wrong hands, a warped paranormal army will flood into Avalon and Earth, leaving nothing but ash in its wake.
Tisiphone, the deadliest of the Furies, has vanished into the shadows of Tintagel. Tracking her means confronting ancient magic, fractured memories, and a Lunar Fae whose broken mind may hold the truth Merritt needs.
Every step brings Merritt closer to a past she doesn’t remember and a future she may not survive.

About the authors
Michael Anderle (ok, weird talking about myself in the 3rd person) (1967-Hopefully a long time from NOW) was born in Houston, Tx. A very curious child, he got into trouble - a lot. What to do with an inquisitive mind when he was grounded? Read!
Ok, done with all of that 3rd person stuff.
In the first 20 years, I mostly read Science Fiction and Fantasy. In the last 10 years I have enjoyed Urban Fantasy and Military Fiction. With this background, I've been blessed with creating The Kurtherian Gambit series, a well-selling, and fan loved, collection of stories.
The fans have propelled these stories beyond my wildest imagination and they should get all of the credit for sharing with friends, family and occasionally the random person on the street. They are fantastic!
A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That’s where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey’s hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven’t already Googled that, but it’s like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.
My pets…
I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She’s a Labradoodle – I think. It’s hard to say but it’s the best I can come up with.
What I’m working on…
I’m already working on the next book in the series – was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

5.0 out of 5 stars More please
Verified PurchaseI love all the series by these authors. The stories tug at your heart, keep you on the edge of you seat, and make you care about all the characters, good and bad. I have to force myself to put the book down if I don't gave time to finish in one sitting as they never fail to hold my interest. I'm sad I have to wait another month for the next book and cannot wait to read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars good
Verified PurchaseI love Merritt, but sometimes she can be pretty naïve. She usually has great ideas, but her idea that cake will cause opposing sides to come together is very naïve. After that debacle, Merritt has another idea to help the soldiers, the bboilbloods, and the Duchess hopefully get closer together. She decides to do a fight night. Not only is she doing that but they are cleaning up the mobsters. I will definitely be reading the next book in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!
Verified PurchaseI have read all the story lines in this universe. I have repeatedly said, best one yet. Merri and Akila are right in line with this world. Great writing and interesting stories that I hope never end.

4.0 out of 5 stars Merritt restores peace in Little Avalon
Verified PurchaseThings get a a little tense when the Boilbloods and a garrison of OPMA soldiers move to the duchy. The soldiers aren’t prepared to treat the ex-assassins as anything other than criminals. Also, there is a bit of a pissing contest between the lead soldier and the Duchess. Merritt’s initial peace making attempts make progress, but don’t stop the divide. Eventually, she comes up with a genius idea to restore peace and help orphans.
