Upcoming Reno
I got these for an upcoming reno. I have used these before with other plumbing jobs and they worked great. The quality of these seem really good. They have a good thickness. If I run into any issues with these during my reno that would be a design or manufacturer issue I will update this review, but as of right now these look like they will work perfectly and a lot cheaper than the local hardware store.

My primary reason for wanting this product is my still unfolding plan to improve my outdoor system for water supply to the various garden areas, as well as possibly add an outdoor potting and wash-up station. My thinking was that since these Pex Copper Crimp Rings require no soldering or glue (both of which seem to me to be messy undertakings), then I might be able to handle the upgrades on my own, without the need for skilled help. Then I discovered that my hand strength might or might not be up to the actual crimping process. However, my secondary reason for wanting the product kicked in as soon as I opened the box. They are really pretty! I have three young grandchildren who love crafts, and live right next door. These shiny little rings can be laced together to make a belt, or dangled on a leather string to make a pendant necklace, or slipped onto a slender finger to serve as a ring -- and what if we stick beads to the outer surface! And what if we clip them into long curly hair to catch the sun, or dangle them on a string from the dog's collar . . . no end to the possibilities. I don't know how many will be needed for my outdoor water supply upgrade, but any not needed for that purpose certainly will not be shoved into a dusty drawer. One cautionary note: in scooping a handful of the rings out of the box to admire them in the sun, I noticed several very fine, coppery metal threads scattered throughout the box. They don't seem to be sharp, but it might be better not to allow them to fall where curious pets or very young children could pick them up. I am surprised that these plumbing accessories aren't also marketed for their crafting potential, but in any case, I am very pleased to have them. PHOTO: Surely enough for pipe fittings, with some left over for crafts.
