Product description
Remember when your saw stayed on the right track? Keep your cuts on the straight and narrow with the WEN 12-Amp 7.25-Inch Plunge Cut Track Saw. The WEN Track Saw provides users the same results as a table or panel saw in a compact and portable package. Simply lay the track (not included - model CT9502 or CT9110) along the desired surface for a clean and smooth cut. The WEN Track Saw is the perfect companion for ripping plywood, trimming doors, building furniture, and any other application needing long, precise cuts. Our powerful 12-amp motor rotates the included 7-1/4-inch 48-tooth blade anywhere from 2000 to 6000 RPM depending on the needs of your particular project. Simply set the variable speed dial to your preferred speed and start sawing. The universal design accepts blades with 5/8-inch arbors, allowing for compatibility with the majority of standard 7-1/4-inch miter and circular saw blades available on the market. Bevel the blade from 0 to 45 degrees to create cuts in boards up to 2.6 inches thick (1.85 inches thick at 45 degrees). Set the depth gauge stop to control how deep the saw plunges. The base features precision grooves that let the saw glide smoothly along the track. However, the saw can also operate on its own as a plunge saw, relying on its flat base for maximum stability and precision. The onboard dust port swivels a full 360 degrees to meet the needs of any project. Simply attach your dust collection device of choice and start sawing. Compatible with the WEN CT9502 100-Inch Track, the WEN CT9110 110-Inch Track, and the WEN CT992F Track Saw Clamps (not included). And, because it’s a WEN product, your WEN 12-Amp Plunge Cut Circular Saw comes backed by a two-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, and a friendly customer helpline, all to make sure you remember WEN.

1.0 out of 5 stars Precio anunciado de 鶹 incorrecto!!!
Ojo 鶹!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great saw for cutting down sheet goods
Verified PurchaseI bought this track saw after seeing some youtube reviews saying it was a decent saw for the price and not wanting to spend several hundred or into the low thousands for a hobbyist woodworker. I wanted a track saw to break down larger sheet goods so I could get them onto the table saw for final dimensions and my existing circular saw simply wasn't capable of making accurate, square cuts. At the price, I did not have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised at how well this saw functioned and the quality of cuts it produced when making a cabinet-style frame for a closet organizer. I quickly was able to trust the accuracy and squareness of the saw for making final cuts on some of the side panels and the end-results was just as good as my cast-iron top table saw. I cut the panels on 1-1/2" foamboard, and had no tear out when cutting with or against the blade using the included stock blade. I have not tried to do any beveled cuts or use this on hardwoods. If you are like me and want an easy and accurate way to cut down large sheet goods, I would highly recommend this saw. I also recommend getting a dust collection hose that has some flexibility in sizing as my shop vac and other attachments did not quite fit the dust hose on the saw.

5.0 out of 5 stars This has to be the best bang for the buck power tool out there!
Verified PurchaseI've been fighting with my circular saw using a guide to do long rips and accurate cross cuts. I don't have a table saw yet and definitely didn't have the budget for a Makita or Festool track saw so I decided to give this Wen a try.
First off, I am VERY happy I went with the 7.25" blade. Not only does it allow for deeper 45 degree cuts but it also has the variable speed setting.
I quickly replaced the blade. It's not great. Got a Diablo blade and threw the Wen blade into a blade bin just in case I ever need it in a pinch. The Wen blade left a lot to be desired. That said, I'd probably replace a Festool blade too.
I will say I didn't get the Wen tracks. I just didn't like what I saw so I went with the PowerTec tracks which aren't much more and seem to be a much better build.
Quick story about the durability of this saw: I had 2 saw horses set up with rigid foam on top as my sacrificial surface. I didn't consider how far the foam was overhanging the sides of the saw horses and when I set the saw on the side edge of the foam the foam (that I have ripped into two manageable pieces) teetered over a bit and it was just enough for the track saw to fall and come crashing down on my concrete floor. The saw handle broke but not all the way. It was sort hanging on by a flap of rubber. Some JB Weld fixed that right up and made it as strong as ever. However, the surprising part despite the gnarly fall and tumble of the saw, IT STILL CUTS SQUARE! Absolutely blown away by the durability and precision of this saw.
Sure, ultimately I'd love to get a Festool track saw down the road (who wouldn't??) but until I can justify such an expensive purchase this Wen track saw is doing a damn fine job. So far all of the inaccurate cuts I've made are user error because I trusted a factory edge of my MDF/Plywood. So, pro tip if you're new to track saws: ALWAYS create a new edge as a reference for your square/track because where it might seem square it could actually be very off. So if you cut a few millimeters off one edge and use that to line up the track with a square you'll have a very good result!
