This is such an awesome toy. Especially for kids that like to play outside with rocks and dirt and/or love construction. It is well made and durable. It works well and looks like an exact replica of the real thing. The remote control is easy to use and comes with rechargeable batteries. As seen in my photos, the box is attractive and showcases the product well with a plastic handle on top for carrying. This is a great gift idea for birthdays, Christmas etc. Shipping and delivery was fast. Great toy!

    I purchased this for my 6 year old who loved "diggers". I how a tow behind excavator and he is amazed by it so I figured he would like digging with this. The controller takes a bit of getting use to but good quality and funstionality with this toy. I would recomend it to anyone with kids that like this sort of thing.

    WELIN Remote Control Excavator Bulldozer Toy, 15CH RC Construction Vehicles Engineering Car with Metal Bucket Rechargeable Battery, 2-in-1 Digger with Lights Sound Birthday Gifts for Kids Boys Age 6+.

    This excavator is fairly large. Most of the excavator is plastic but it has a metal shovel for safe digging in the mud, and it has rubber tracks so it doesn't scuff up floors. This one also has a metal leveling blade that moves up and down so you can plow with it. The remote controls many movements. The excavator can go forward and back, as well and left and right. The body can rotate clockwise and counter clockwise on the base. The bucket can lift in an arc and move down in a digging motion and then pull up with the bucket pulled up. It can do the same movement in the opposite direction too. There is a button on the remote that causes the excavator to output a motor sound. It will keep running until you turn the sound off. There is also a button to turn forward facing lights on and off. There is also a demo mode button where the excavator goes through a range of movements to demonstrate its capabilities.

    The excavator is fun to play with. It is slow enough to be precise, but fast enough to allow you to have fun with it and feel like you are doing something. The detail on the body is good. It actually looks like an excavator with the hydraulic hoses, cylinders, and body panels all detailed quite well. This model has an exhaust port where you can add water and turn on a smoke option to simulate the engine exhaust which is a neat feature for realism.

    The level of detail and the ability to control a lot of functions on this excavator makes it a fun toy to play with. The plastic and looseness of the joints at the base makes it feel a bit fragile. I do like that it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries.

    At $95 I expected a premium metallic excavator that reflected heavy machinery and the price tag.

    Instead, what I got was a low quality plastic toy with a couple metal accents.

    Nobody who paid for this would be impressed by it.

    There are a bunch of similar (maybe identical) versions priced at $35, and that’s an appropriate price for this. As things are, the price turned a fun $35 toy into an infuriating $95 disappointment. Hashtag CATfished
