I hate using this because 2,4-D is a serious herbicide. But we got a house that had not been maintained and the lawn was about 90% weeds and dandelions. We tried digging them out but the front and side yards were very large and we could not even get ahead of the things: it was this or resodding. We used the weed bar once (and loaned it to the people who bought the other half of the property). It killed a LOT of the weeds, and after that we were able to get ahead of them by digging the rest out and seeding. We've had it under control ever since. We did not use it on the enclosed yard where we keep our pets and would not recommend doing so even if you wait the suggested couple of weeks before letting the pets out . As a nuclear option when your weeds are out of control, I think this is useful. For minor weed issues, I think it's overkill and not a great choice. It's very easy to use and despite the high price, a good value because even after using it on our large lawn and neighbor's smaller one, there seems to be plenty of "stuff" left in it. Do keep in mind that this contains 2,4-D which is a suspected carcinogen (causes cancer), wear gloves when handling, and wash well after. Make sure to keep kids, pets, and others off your lawn for at least a few weeks.
The smell is very very strong so dont put it in your garage. I store mine in my shed. But it seems to work. I applied once only because it is raining since. We see later
I first bought this product 20 years ago and it worked very well . Fast forward to 2023, the only thing that’s the same is the name. I think they forgot to add the key ingredient for weed killing 2 4 d. Don’t waste your money
