Dual Bands WiFi Repeater

With combined wireless speeds of up to 2.4GHz 300Mbps or 5GHz 867Mbps, simple tasks like sending e-mails or web browsing can be handled by the 2.4GHz band while bandwidth-intensive tasks like online gaming or HD video streaming can be processed by the 5GHz.

Withstand Harsh Climates

An IP65-rated weatherproof housing that ensures the 572HP3 continued operation on harsh outdoor environments or in climates of extreme cold, heat or continuous moisture. Withstanding broad ranges of humidity and temperature (-30°C~70°C) (-22°F~158°F). Build in lightning arrester (15kV ESD), 4KV lightning protection.Note: The PoE part of the router is not waterproof.

Applicable for Large-coverage

Extend the network over long-distances (max 200 meters) with high gain 4x7dBi antennas that deliver a stable and fast network connectivity to large yards and patios. So, it can boost Wi-Fi coverage up to max A=πr^2(r=200m)= 125,600m^2(1350,000 sq.ft), which is over 135 times larger than others' only 10,000 sq.ft coverage!

Installation note：

-Select the wireless network with a signal strength greater than 70% to get the most reliable connection.

-The outdoor antennas should be installed at a height of 2 meters above the roof or in a high open place for better reception.

I'm going to preface this review by saying that I have 26 years in the IT sector. This is NOT my first rodeo.
Having said that let me be clear....

Don't even bother. This is thing is garbage. It doesn't seem to matter what "mode" you select, the unit gets to the end of the setup and resets itself so you have to do the setup all over again. I managed to get to set up in Repeater mode ONCE and then 30 seconds later it reset itself and I had to start over...again. 6 hours I spent on this and even enlisted a team-member's assistance....to avail.

It's too bad because the construction is solid and the weatherproofing looks good. But don't kid yourself and don't waste your time and money. Yes just about everything made in China is junk but you would at least expect these things to NOT be such a POS right out of the box.

I bet the wifi extenders used in China work just fine. I bet they sit back and laugh at us daily, thinking "I can't believe they keep buying all this junk!!"

Easy setup! I ran a 150ft POE cable from the Poe switch (included) beside my router all the way to my roof. I have it mounted about 25-30 feet (7.6m-9.13m). I have full wifi beside my barn/pool/yard etc. barn is approximately 350 feet away (106.67M). I lose all wifi when I walk behind the barn which has metal siding. I also made the SSID the same as my home network so it automatically switches from one to the other! My internet speeds using starlink average about 120-200mbps. When I compared speeds using the antenna and just being inside there may of been about 20mbps drop in speed. I was still getting 80mbps by my barn and that was more than I need. Overall I’m happy - feel free to ask any questions and I’ll try and answer them. I’ll update my review if there’s a problem with longevity of the device.

Ne trouvant plus, j'ai testé celui de TP link que le jour même j'ai retourné. Il fallait créer un compte pour gérer l'appareil en ligne. J'ai réussis à le jumelé pour finir, pas d'internet.
Donc, pour résumer, J'ai acheté le AC1200 et je le regrette pas. Plus cher que le AC600, mais aussi facile a paramétrer.

This is a pretty good repeater so far. Setting it up was pretty easy--there's not exactly a whole lot of pieces to assemble. Just follow the directions and you'll be fine. The main antenna portion seems fairly sturdy, so I don't think I'll have a problem with it being outdoors. The range seems pretty good, too. It helps extend my wifi signal to my entire yard and beyond, which is excellent. Speeds are also pretty good, too.

Unfortunately I found this to be very unreliable, needing to be rebooted about every 9 hours. Installed outdoors in Access Point mode for streaming from security cameras. Maybe it wasn't made for the bandwidth of three 4K cameras? Quite useless for my application anyway.

Signal strength was good, when it was working, certainly better than the access point it (briefly) replaced.

Configuration was easy enough through the web interface. The options are quite limited. The 2.4GHz and 5GHz radios can be operated with different SSDIs if you so desire but the default is to operate under the same name. The web interface doesn't show any stats for the access point and doesn't show the connected devices or signal strengths.

Note that this is a 24V passive PoE device. An injector is included. It is not compatible with standards based PoE so if you want add an access point to in to your IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at switch, look elsewhere.

After using it for a year, I haven’t found any flaws. However, it would be great if they could add a smart app control feature with a firewall. Regardless of that, totally is a good quality product.
