Pixar’s high-water mark of digital animation—a prescient vision of a dystopian future within a dazzling pop-science-fiction love story
Now in a 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray Combo Pack
A high-water mark of digital animation, this prescient vision of a dystopian future is packaged within a dazzling pop- science-fiction love story, making for an urgent fable for our troubled millennium.

WALL-E - Greatest Pixar Movie Ever

- Reviewed in Canada on March 16, 2025Verified PurchaseThis is the greatest 4K transfer I have ever had the pleasure, no, BLESSING, of watching. Seriously, watching this was a spiritual experience. The Criterion version is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I know that sounds dramatic, but to be able to see this masterpiece honoured for the amazing piece of art it is, is worth the price. I actually have the Disney release as well, and I feel like it’s absolute trash in comparison LOL. As someone who watched Wall-E in theatre when it first came out, and still consider it one of my favourite movies to date, this Criterion edition brought tears to my eyes, it is so beautifully done. 100% worth having. I can’t recommend it enough.

5.0 out of 5 starsDisney/Pixar’s Wall-E is definitely amazing and perhaps one of the greatest movies of the 21st century. It has truly earned a place in the Criterion Collection. It is heartwarming and educational on what could happen to Earth if the inhabitants of the planet do not do everything in their power to protect it. 4K is version is very clear and beautiful. Special Features are numerous, but amazing. Definitely worth the upgrade from previous DVD & Blu-ray versions. Most special features from previous versions did transfer over to the Criterion edition.WALL-E - Greatest Pixar Movie Ever

- Reviewed in Canada on November 25, 2022Verified PurchaseThe 4K Criterion Collection release of WALL E is amazing. Disney’s in house 4k home video releases have been lacklustre to say the least, with no Dolby Vision and weak Dolby “Atmouse” audio tracks, Criterion has rescued my favourite Pixar movie of all time.
Gorgeous presentation from the box art to the audio, video and special features. Can’t recommend enough.
If you love WALL E this is a no brainer purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Electric Love
Verified PurchaseThis will not be a review of the movie but my feeling of the 4K transfer and packaging.
Criterion have hit it out the park with this transfer.
The colours are noticeably richer and fuller, thanks to the HDR. Along with the Dolby Vision, this transfer looks fantastic and is a great experience from the first scenes.
I only have an older AV receiver but the sounds were rich, bombastic and enjoyable throughout.
The voices were clear and easy to hear.
Criterion provide a customized boxset with a booklet. Very nice and premium packaging.
I will 100% recommend this for anybody who is a fan of this movie

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone should have this in their collection
Verified PurchaseAn excellent edition of a wonderful film. The artwork, packaging, and extras are of a great quality. The picture and sound quality of the movie is better than Disney's own 4K release while the special features are more extensive and interesting. The booklet is nice and informative. Hopefully Criterion gets the chance to give similar treatment to other titles from the Disney catalogue (including from 20th Century Fox, Touchstone and Pixar) in the future.
The only negative would be that the Blu-ray discs are locked to Region A (the 4K disc is Region Free)

1.0 out of 5 stars Love the film, hate the packaging
Verified PurchaseI was very much looking forward to adding this release to my collection. However the box this release comes in is made of card (which to be fair, this fits in with the message of the film) and 鶹 decided to ship this item internationally in a paper (not card) envelope. As a result, this arrived bent and when I opened it up, the plastic which holds the discs in place was utterly shattered. Needless to say, this was very disappointing for a collector's item which I now need to replace. 鶹 did provide a full refund without asking me to return the item however I am reluctant to order another from 鶹 due to the length of time it took to arrive combined with the inadequate packaging.
Sadly none of this review is really representative of the item itself which I'm sure is fantastic as it is a brilliant film and this edition should be the best way to watch it with all the extras, etc. However be careful when buying from 鶹 as this may not be packaged appropriately.
