    I was shopping for a new grinder and bought this on an impulse because I liked the idea of not putting another machine on my counter. This grinder is exceedingly well built. The grind is perfect or nearly so. The design of the handle is clever. I would prefer the grind cup to be a little bigger and I'm not crazy about the adjustment mechanism. There is no visual indicator of where the grind is set. You have to reset it and count clicks. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

    Unless my beans are more voluminous per weight, it's a tight fit for 18 grams. I use this with a Hugh 51mm IMS basket and 18 grams is also a bit much for the basket so I go for 17 grams and everything goes great.

    I started spraying with a small amount of water and the grounds are much looser that way, higly recommend spraying with a little water before grinding and letting the grinder dry afterward.

    I must say, I am becoming quite the Wacaco fan. I have gradually come to own several of their products and they always impress me. The Exagrind is no exception. I needed a travel grinder to bring with me on business trips that would grind fine enough to pull espresso with the Picopresso. My prior grinder was great for large grinds but couldn't get a clean espresso grind. The Exagrind does exactly what I need and it does it well.

    The build quality is top notch. I believe Wacaco changed production methods at some point because the grinder I received in late 2024 has a metal top (not clear acrylic) with a magnet built into the handle to keep it mounted to the grinder body when in storage. The whole grinder (aside from the rubber wrap around the upper body) is made of metal. I see no plastic parts and I have no worry of anything wearing out prematurely. I think this grinder will last me for quite some time and I am glad to own it. I highly recommend to anybody looking for a solid option for a manual hand grinder.

    Le moulin est bien fait et très lourd. Grâce au revêtement en silicone de la partie supérieure, il est toujours facile à tenir.
    L'ensemble du moulin a une allure très élégante grâce à la bonne exécution et au mélange de matériaux composés de métal, de bois et d'une couche de poignée en silicone. Les valeurs intérieures sont également nobles.

    Le moulin peut contenir environ 35 grammes de grains de café, ce qui est plus que suffisant. Un espresso normal nécessite normalement entre 7 et 10 grammes de café.
    Grâce à son cône pointu, la mouture se fait sans effort et le café moulu est très homogène.
    Le degré de broyage souhaité peut être réglé très précisément par petites étapes, de grossier à fin.

    À mon avis, un moulin à café de haute qualité offre à tous ceux qui célèbrent leur café du matin une machine à portafiltre de haute qualité, la cerise sur le gâteau.

    Je donne 4 étoiles à ce moulin à café et je pense qu'il est fortement recommandé pour les vrais connaisseurs.
