The pump arrived undamaged in a cardboard box with protective molded foam top and bottom. I examined it quite closely and it's very similar, if not identical, to the original pump. It bolted right up to the underside of the washer drum casing without issue, I re-attached the internal hose, and attached the back panel. After hooking the water and drain lines and power I tested a couple of loads of washing and it performed as expected, with no signs of any leakage at all.
I like that these units come as one piece because a deck screw had damaged the filter trap and destroyed the vanes on the impeller, so this allowed me to just replace everything. This same pump seems to be used for many Whirlpool, Maytag, and Amana washing machines, but in my case, I can confirm that it definitely works on a Whirlpool WFW75HEFW0 model, and has resolved its F9E1 (long drain) error code due to the damage to the old pump.
I didn't take any pictures, but it's quite easy to replace; disconnect the internal drain hose and the electrical connection, remove four screw-type bolts I used a socket (5/32", I think) but you could use a short nut driver too, and wiggle it back and forth while pulling down slightly to work the rubber gasket free and it will fall out in your hand. I wet the new gasket with some water and a tiny bit of soap to let the new pump slide into the gasket in the drum. Tighten the four screws (carefully, you're screwing into plastic)until the four mounting spots have no gaps and are flush and "tight enough", then re-attach the hose to the pump, don't forget to plug in the electrical connector (it only goes in one way), and Bob's your uncle.
