How to use?

Why does it always disconnect automatically?

1. The power supply is unstable; 2. The phone has insufficient running memory; 3. All applications do not work after the phone screen is turned off; 4. The car equipment system and the phone system need to be upgraded.
Why does my phone get hot after using it for a while?

After connecting, the phone screen is off, but it is still working. The degree to which the phone gets hot is related to the operating speed of the phone itself. The newer the phone, the lower the degree of heat.
Why some apps cannot be used?

Because different APP companies have different levels of privacy protection, different APPs are restricted from screen projection. If one day the APP company allows it, screen projection will be possible.
Why does it suddenly stop working after using it for a while?

1. Problem with the car interface; 2. Low system version of the phone and car device; 3. Insufficient phone memory; 4. WiFi Bluetooth is interfered; 5. CarPlay/Android Auto service is suspended to maintain the system or solve some technical problems.

I’ve been using the Volam 9.26" Wireless CarPlay screen for a couple of weeks, and it’s been a great upgrade for my older car. Setup was fast—plug and play—and wireless CarPlay connects automatically within seconds. I’ve had no dropouts so far, and Bluetooth audio works well through my factory stereo. The screen is bright and readable even in sunlight, with decent touch response and an auto-dimming feature that’s great for night driving.

The built-in dash cam is better than I expected—clear video both day and night, and it records automatically with loop recording. The backup camera kicks in when reversing and works reliably. I've mostly been using it for navigation, music, and calls, and everything runs smoothly.

If I had to nitpick, the unit feels a little plasticky, and the mount can vibrate slightly on rough roads. But for the price, those are minor issues.

For those having Android Auto / Carplay issues I found that it DOES connect when I'm at home , but connects faster when I'm away from home . If it doesn't connect immediately , it does when I clear the house and connections sort themselves out . I'm Impressed with the quailty not only of the screen itself , but the mounts and attachments . Cord length is great on all wires . Plenty of wire to reach the back of my 2001 Dakota with a 7' box . I purchased a licence plate mount for the camera which works well . I chose suction mount to the windshield as I don't like adhesives on the dash , and while it DOES obstruct the centre mounted camera somewhat ( to be expected ) the field view is still excellent . Same with the rear camera . Night vision is excellent as well . I really have nothing negative to say about this unit and have recommeded it to several friends . I emailed regarding the extended warranty and received a positive reply within 24 hours . You can't go wrong with this unit ....brings an old vehicle up to date !
