    Vitex has been a godsend for perimenopausal symptoms of PMS craziness, especially sore and swollen breasts (which were NEVER a PMS symptom for me).

    However, I normally use Genestra brand - the two months that I was on this brand (cycling on and off diligently), I had a noticable shift in symptoms included tender breasts and moods. It might work for you, but I will be going back to the old stuff.

    Ever since starting, I have been bleeding, spotting etc during my luteal phase when I’m not supposed to be. Apparently this is a common side effect when I googled. Unfortunately I can’t bleed everyday and I can’t return the product which is very disappointing.
