This is much more effective I believe than regular B6. My only caution would be that if you take 50 mg of B6, you should not take a full 50 milligram capsule of this bioactive B6... I just dump half or even less of a capsule in water and then save the next for the next day. It also seems to have a longer lasting effect than regular B6

I've been using this for the last three weeks, and in that time, I cannot say that I have felt any positive effects, and more importantly, nor have there been any negative. I have done some reading on the product to see what the positive results should look like, but I have not experienced any myself. This is not to say that the supplement is not worth it; the thing with humans is that our physiology and personal bodily needs can vary so greatly that what will do wonders for some people can have little or no effect on others. This is something I have experienced numerous times.
♦ I have not sensed any improvement in metabolism.
♦ I've not felt any boost in energy.

I was able to take this to my holistic practitioner and have him test it on me, and as suspected, it was not needed. I do take a lot of other supplements, and this may have an effect on the result or might be as simple as right now: my body doesn't need it. On the upside, if this is something that your body needs/can use, then for 120 days (the recommended dose is one capsule a day), this is a good deal.

The bottle came sealed, and there was nothing other than the capsules inside.

Another high point is that this is made in Canada, and I prefer to buy Canadian whenever possible, especially when it comes to supplements, as the quality is not as suspect as the products that come in from Asia. It is also Health Canada approved so the bottle carries an NPN number.

○ I expect that others will have different results for a variety of reasons so I do not want to give the impression that this is not a quality product.

As someone who’s had B vitamin deficiencies that I must compensate for via supplementation, it’s easy to lump a lot of B vitamin supplements together. I figured that as long as I was taking what I needed, that was good enough. That is, until I discovered P5P. There are so many supplements out there that you can’t always know what’s the best for your specific needs until you try them. There is a lot of trial and error, and you just cannot possibly know what you don’t know.

I didn’t know until I stumbled upon P5P that it is 10 times more effective than the inactive form of B6. P5P is literally the activated form of B6. That right there is huge. It delivers better results and does so faster than regular old B6. I wish I had known about P5P before now because I can tell the difference in my energy levels and the clarity I feel from having taken it. When your levels of B are insufficient, it makes such a difference to start supplementing them, but it’s an even bigger difference to take something that works better in your system, and that’s what I’ve experienced with this particular product. I would encourage everyone interested in this product to do their own research about P5P and its remarkable benefits.

This brand of P5P comes in a bottle that has both a safety seal and a freshness seal, which I appreciate. The capsules are not big, they’re easy to swallow, and there is no smell, taste or aftertaste. There is a two month supply in this bottle, and that’s a very good value at this price point for a quality product that works. I also like B6 for its sleep benefits, and this superior form of B6 has helped improve my quality of sleep. This product is made in Canada, and I am fine with that as I trust our northern neighbor’s manufacturing and quality standards.

As I am getting older, it was recommended that I start taking B-vitamin supplements. I was not aware of the difference between "active" and "inactive" B6 until I came across this product. After some research (and you should do some, too, and talk to your doctor before starting a supplement routine), I found that the active form is up to 10 times more effective than the regular inactive form found in most B6 vitamins.

Since I started taking this product (about 30 days ago), I have noticed a difference in my energy levels and mental clarity. It is always hard to pinpoint the exact effects of a supplement, so I say that with reserve. But I do feel that this product is helping me.

Made in Canada and free from a lot of the fillers you find in many other vitamins, I feel safe and confident taking these pills. They are well-packaged and labeled. They are also free from many common allergens and unnecessary sweeteners or chemicals. I have not had any negative reactions or unpleasant side effects since starting this product.

From what I have learned, activated B6 is the way to go if you want to take a B6 supplement, and this one from Vibrant Naturals is a very good option.

This vitamin B Supplement (120 Capsules, 50mg each capsule) seems to be on the upper end of the recommended dose (strongest potency?), and it is formulated and manufactured in Canada by Vibrant Naturals (Nanoose Bay, BC, Canada) with domestically sourced ingredients. The manufacturers' statements regarding lab testing by accredited 3rd party laboratories for purity, potency, adulterants, allergies, heavy metals etc. have not been substantiated by us and there is no link on their website to back up these claims, so keep that in mind when/if considering a purchase.

Note: There are several things to consider when independently investigating and evaluating the effectiveness of any supplements and here are a few for your consideration: Ingredients, Company Reputation (with return policy and/or money-back guarantee), Product Testing Results (Independent, 3rd Party or otherwise), Other Customer Reviews, Cost Per Serving, etc. We were unable to get answers to some of these things, but the existing reviews, return policy and overall benefits of vitamin B supplements are quite impressive, so we plan on continuing our trial run, and we will update this review in the future if anything of importance arises that might benefit others.

Bottom Line: This P-5-P supplement has 120 capsules which would be a 4-month supply if taken as directed (1 capsule per day), came with a marked Lot No. (240118), a good till date of January 2027 (legible on side of bottle), arrived double sealed for protection from tampering (outside cap and inside opening), appears to be manufactured with high-quality materials and offers several health benefits if effective.
