The broom features dual bristle technology that has two times the floor contact as conventional brooms. That means it sweeps up 99% of pet hair in one sweep*. It also features the innovative Step On Dust Pan. Simply step on the handle and the pressure creates a seal between the pan’s rubber lip and the floor. Great Broom and Dust Pan!
This was delivered unassembled, but was easy to screw together. I have had Vileda brooms in the past and this is similar with the angled broom design and feel while sweeping. The handle is metal and narrow, so fits well in my hands. The bristles have some bend to move well over the floor surface, but not too flimsy that they bend right over or break. It is the dustpan that is where they have made this so much better than my last broom set! From the foot holding ability so you don’t have to crouch over to fill the pan and the bristle cleaner at the base of the pan (below the handle) to remove the pet and human hair that can build up on the end. This is perfect for my household with myself and my daughter who have long hair, as well as two constantly shedding cats and a Labrador who is like having 10 normal shedding dogs. No more getting hands dirty trying to get all the build up out of the bristles! I am so loving this broom!
