So simple, and yet so great
Really not sure why no one else had thought of doing this to a duster handle before. The flexible bit is such a simple thing and yet so very innovative! It really makes the dusting experience a LOT better; you can really get into all the crooks and crannies easily and it also works very well for dusting spots where you may have a lot of knick-knacks since it makes it easy to get in-between things without knocking them down. The handle has a nice extendable length to it while still collapsing to an easily stored one and the refills are priced really reasonably at less than a buck each.

    The Vileda Flex & Catch Heavy Duty Dusting Kit is designed for effective cleaning. It makes dusting easy and thorough. Its extendable 3-foot handle allows to reach ceilings and low corners. The rotating head easily works into tight spaces. The duster hook keeps the disposable refills in place. It's suitable for ceiling fans, blinds, or electronics as well as other household dusting needs.

    I love this duster! It's long like a broom so you can use it for your walls, ceilings and hard to reach places. I love that I am able to extend it if I need to. My previous duster was half this size and I had to stand on chairs to dust high cabinets and ceiling corners. The duster part is disposable but long lasting. You can use each refill repeatedly before changing. There are 3 refills included in the pack.

    The fibers of the duster trap dirt, dust, dander and pet hair very well without the need for water or additional cleaners. This duster has transformed my cleaning routine and cut my dusting time in half. If you have pets that shed a lot, you will love this!

    Why didn't I buy one of these before? I'm only 5'3" tall, so reaching almost anything above 6' is nearly impossible without standing on a stool. As soon as it arrived I tried it out, and suddenly I'm reaching the dust webs in the corners of the ceiling and the trim above the doors like nobody's business. Ceiling fan, hallway light, I've got the reach of a basketball player now. I expected the dust to just get swept off onto the floor like most dusters, but the fluffy fiber head held onto the dust, so I don't have to sweep or vacuum the mess afterward. Gamechanger for a shorty like me.

    This is a decent length to reach the tops of cabinets and ceiling vents. I am also able to reach ceiling fan. The ability to set the angle is good, and while the white tip does bend, it is a bit still, so if something is light, like a picture frame it pushes the item before it bends so be aware of that. The tips seem to collect the dust well, but it did move some webs at the ceiling level around, only to catch on corners when I was cleaning further down, so it does not lock in and hold the dust as much as I would like - I am dry cleaning my room corners. While it is just plastic, it seems sturdy enough and it does collapse small enough to store easily.

    I removed one star for the dry collection and moving the webs (as opposed to holding them in the material) when I was cleaning my room corners.

    Now I don't have any ability to tell if this thing truly traps 3x more dust like it claims, but I do know that it dusts an amazing job with it. Dust just clings to this thing like crazy. Very impressed.

    Comes with 3 refills in total, so you will probably run out quick depending on how much dusting you need to do. Overall I am satisfied and think it's a great duster.

    Very pleased with this Vileda Flex & Catch heavy duty dusting kit, which is a godsend for cleaning hard-to-reach places. Now we can very easily get into ceiling corners, top closet shelves, and other high-up spots without the need for a ladder or step stool. We clean our bedroom ceiling fan pretty regularly, and it's never been easier. It really does a great job of catching dust too, and not simply pushing it around. The telescoping handle is awesome and it still feels sturdy even when fully extended – it doesn't feel flimsy at all. Very impressed. Highly recommend!

    I want to like this Vileda "Flex & Catch" duster.

    It's cheaply made and the plastics won't win any quality awards, but it does what it is designed for pretty well. The extendable arm pulls out easily enough and the soft tip does a good job or steering around knick-knacks and stair pillars. The disposable duster tips are easy to put on but not that easy to change out, in my experience. I guess that can be a good thing since the duster tips will not come off if you get enthusiastic with your cleaning.

    Ultimately I believe they design these products to sell consumables like the duster tips that aren't washable, so much like the ink jet printer industry you have to keep buying the refills if you want to keep using this. I think this business model is abhorrent, especially when it would be trival to have soft cloth duster tips that you can just throw in your washing machine and use over and over.

    Not recommended because of the non-washable duster tips.
