Great set to elevate a Viking costume.
This is a great accessories set for a viking costume. It came with the faux fur shawl and a head band. The quality is great, soft and comfortable shawl that is lined for comfort. The headband is well made, cut out evenly and has a nice pattern engraved into it as well as a emblem on the front. It ties in the back around the head and is comfortable. This set would work for a man or a women with no issues, it is a great set that will really elevate a Viking costume for Halloween or any sort of festival. Great quality, recommended.

    Quite basic but still well made.

    I do alot of costume stuff and cosplay but it is always nice to have a few things around that I can use quick or lend out if needed. The shawl is nice with only one spot of visible stitching on the inside, sort of a necesity as to how it is made. Not visible at all from the outside. The fur is quite well done. Nice color and grain to it with a smooth liner.

    The headband is pretty decent. Nice material with a nice liner. The eyelts for the lacing are supported by a single rivet on either side so if you try to tighten it too much it will help prevent damage to the rest of the band. I have an average size head and have about a 5" gap between the ends when it is on. So it should be good for most people. The ties are not stitched in so if you want to repalce them with leather lace it is simple.

    Overall quite happy.

    The fur pelt and head band are well made costume grade accessories. The faux fur color and thickness is a convincing piece that is exaggerated in proportion and the selection of fur coarseness clearly appears as Viking attire as opposed to just any fur color. It looks like it could have come off some wild beast.

    The head band is padded on the back. Going to a party I would say it's comfortable enough to wear for some time and doesn't require having to wear a helmet or some other uncomfortable accessory to get the Viking look.

    People immediately identify the costume as Viking with the two pieces on so adding your own additional pieces to this set easily gets you on your way to a full Viking costume people will have no issue recognizing.

    I would say this is sized for up to an average sized male or female but if you are a large person it's probably too small.

    This is a super fun set for cosplay. The headband is leather and a nice shape with pleasant detailing. It is fastened with leather ties and works very nicely. The fur shoulder piece is lined with satin-like material and fastens with safety pins. It would be no problem to add a more authentic fastener. These are just the sort of costume pieces that add detail to a look. On my first wearing, I didn’t have them on very long. I think they will be very comfortable for longer, extended, events. I quite like them.

    This is an excellent Halloween costume for a Viking style. It comes with faux fur shawl leather headband. The shawl looks real from afar and leather headband looks cool. Overall, I am very satisfied.

    One thing to note, the shawl is kind of small and will not fit a man with broad shoulders

    This Viking costume set is a fun choice for dress-up or cosplay. The headband is adjustable. It laces in the back with a cord, through metal rivets. The fur cape is thick and soft, and the colours are authentic. It stays on with safety pins, but I wish it had a stronger way to hold it. Overall, this is a good addition to a costume, but you'll need to pair it with additional pieces.

    The headband was folded for shipping and ended up with a permanent crease in the middle. Other than that, the shawl itself is very soft. I was expecting a rough faux fur texture, like boar bristles or something similar, but it’s actually softer than my cat lol. Which is totally fine and much more comfortable to wear.

    Für ein Wikinger-Kostüm war ich auf der Suche nach einem passenden Fellkragen und bin auf dieses Set gestoßen. Ehrlich gesagt, waren meine Erwartungen bei dem Preis und der Tatsache, dass es sich um Kunstfell handelt, eher gedämpft. Umso positiver war ich überrascht, als das Paket ankam.

    Der Fellkragen – Hält, was er verspricht (und seine Haare)

    Das Kunstfell fühlt sich erstaunlich gut und weich an. Natürlich sieht man bei genauem Hinsehen, dass es kein echtes Fell ist – dafür ist der Schnitt etwas zu gleichmäßig und die Farbe sehr einheitlich. Für den gewünschten optischen Effekt bei einem Kostüm ist er aber absolut perfekt und wertet das gesamte Outfit auf.

    Mein größtes Lob geht aber an die Verarbeitung. Aus Erfahrung mit anderen Kunstfellen hatte ich mich schon darauf eingestellt, dass nach einer Stunde Tragen mein gesamtes restliches Outfit mit Kunsthaaren bedeckt sein würde. Aber hier? Fehlanzeige! Das Fell bleibt, wo es hingehört, selbst nach längerem Tragen. Das allein weist auf eine Qualität hin, die ich nicht erwartet hätte.

    Ein kleiner Abzug in der B-Note: Die Innenseite des Kragens ist aus einem einfachen Polyesterstoff, der sich etwas billig anfühlt. Da man diesen Teil aber nicht sieht, ist das absolut zu verkraften. Die mitgelieferten Sicherheitsnadeln zum Schließen habe ich direkt durch eine passende Fibel ersetzt, das wirkt einfach authentischer.

    Das Highlight: Das Leder-Stirnband

    Eine wirkliche Überraschung war das beiliegende Stirnband. Es wirkt überhaupt nicht billig, das Kunstleder ist geschmeidig und fühlt sich auf der Innenseite weich an, sodass man es problemlos stundenlang tragen kann. Das Design ist clever durchdacht: Es verjüngt sich zu den Seiten hin zu dünnen Bändern, die man unauffällig unter den Haaren am Hinterkopf zusammenbinden kann. Das sieht super aus und ist auch in Kombination mit einer Kapuze sehr praktisch.

    Fazit

    Für den Preis ist dieses Set eine absolute Empfehlung. Man erhält einen optisch ansprechenden und vor allem gut verarbeiteten Fellkragen, der nicht fusselt, und dazu ein wirklich tolles Stirnband. Wer ein Accessoire für ein Wikinger-, Mittelalter- oder Cosplay-Outfit sucht, macht hier definitiv nichts falsch.

    The leather headband is a nice surprise, it’s got really good detail and adds a cool finishing touch to the whole look. Well designed and doesn’t feel cheap at all.

    The fur shawl’s nice and fluffy without feeling too heavy. It keeps you warm but still breathable, so you won’t get too hot wearing it indoors. It also comes with two pins so you can easily adjust the fit or secure it how you like, super handy.

    This artificial pelt really does look real! It was packaged nicely, so that the hairs weren't bent. It lays down nice and smooth and just really looks great. Even up close it looks real! For storage, I hang it around a clothes hanger like a t-shirt. The quality is great. The thickness is outstanding! Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this artificial pelt!

    Obwohl es sich um Kunstfell handelt, ist der Fellkragen eine gute Ergänzung für Kostüme. Er wirkt zwar nicht sehr natürlich (dafür ist er zu rundlich geschnitten und das Fell ist auch sehr einfarbig), erzielt aber durchaus einen sehr netten optischen Effekt.

    Die Unterseite ist recht robust (kann z.B. mit Nieten oder Knöpfen versehen werden, damit man ihn auf Schulterplatten o.ä. befestigen kann).

    Ein wirkliches Highlight war aber die beiliegende "Krone", die eindeutig dafür designt wurde "unter" den langen Haaren getragen zu werden. Meine wurde beim Versand leicht geknickt ( aber bei Leder gibt sich das mit der Zeit). Der vordere Teil entspricht dem Bild, etwa auf Schläfenhöhe (je nach Kopfgröße) verjüngt sich das ganze zu Schnüren, die "unsichtbar" unter die Haare geschoben werden können - sie brauchen keine Löwenmähne um hiermit überzeugend auszusehen - weiterer Bonus : Ist sehr praktisch bei Kombination mit Kapuzen und oder vorne offenen Helmen (ohne das Rieb erzeugt wird).

    Preislich etwas teurer, aber durchaus eine Überlegung wert. Wer ein Accessoire wie dieses sucht : Empfehlung!
