About this item
- One Machine for All Seasons: It integrates refrigeration (10-14℃ cold air), dehumidification (15L/day intelligent humidity control), and air supply (110m³/h), suitable for all seasons with comprehensive functions
- Efficient Refrigeration without Drying: The 3.5L large water tank supports 6-12 hours of refrigeration, and the waste heat evaporation technology is matched with the internal threaded copper tube, which cools down quickly and maintains humidity, comparable to the cooling feeling of air conditioners
- Ultra-quiet + Ultra-power-saving: 38-44dB(A) low-noise sleep level operation, only 7 hours/kWh (10 hours of use per day, 1-1.5 kWh), 80% more energy-saving than traditional air conditioners
- Lightweight and Installation-free design: 12.8kg compact body (21.5×34.3×59cm), plug-and-play, can be flexibly placed on the desktop/ground, and one-button cooling in 3 seconds
- Rare Earth Core Strong Performance: High-efficiency rare earth compressor, dual DC motor and metal cross-flow fan, low noise and durable; heat exchanger + water mist injection technology improves refrigeration efficiency
- Recommendations for Installing Heat Exhaust Pipes: Direct-blowing mobile air conditioners are mainly used in open spaces such as kitchens, study rooms, libraries, and sentry booths to quickly assist in cooling. In order to more quickly reduce the temperature and humidity in a confined space and reduce the perceived temperature, it is necessary to reduce the humidity in the air and exhaust it outdoors to achieve the purpose of rapid cooling.

Product Description
Cool Summer

This air conditioner converts waste heat into energy, absorbs heat through water source at low temperature, reduces compressor load, reduces hot air temperature, increases cold air coolness, and reduces noise and power consumption.

Cooling is not dry, and there is no air conditioner disease to care for children, pregnant women, and the elderly.

-
How does the mobile air conditioner compare to the wall-mounted air conditioner?
The refrigeration principle is compressor refrigeration. The difference is that the mobile air conditioner dissipates heat to the outside through the exhaust pipe, and inhales room temperature air, which may weaken the cooling effect.
-
What is the difference between direct-blowing mobile air conditioners and traditional mobile air conditioners?
Direct-blowing mobile air conditioners are installation-free, portable, plug-and-play, and do not require heat dissipation pipes; traditional mobile air conditioners must be connected to external heat dissipation pipes before they can be used.
-
Is the noise loud?
Compared with traditional mobile air conditioners, our mobile air conditioners are 5-10 decibels quieter; the noise in sleep mode is as low as 45 decibels, which is low enough to not affect sleep (similar to fans)
-
Why is it recommended to install heat exhaust pipes for use in confined spaces?
Direct-blowing mobile air conditioners can quickly cool down, but the humidity in the confined space will also increase significantly, so the humidity in the air needs to be reduced and discharged outdoors.
-
What are the advantages of direct-blowing mobile air conditioners?
1. No installation required, portable, plug-and-play; local rapid cooling.
2. Energy saving and power saving.
3. Low noise, 38-44dB in sleep mode, 50dB in normal mode.

- Reviewed in Canada on July 12, 2025This was one of the more difficult reviews for me to write. The problem is that I always read reviews before ordering any product, and many of the reviews for this air conditioner were negative. Despite that, I really wanted to give this air conditioner a chance and approach it with an open mind.
I have a small bedroom in our home that, when we did renovations, the builder put no vents in the room at all. It gets very hot in the summer and has no windows. This makes the traditional air conditioner impossible to use since you cannot vent the hot air out. This new technology seemed exactly what I was looking for, despite some contradictions on the product page.
The air conditioner arrived very well packaged. It comes with the main unit, instructions, a small remote control, and a filter.
The only assembly required is putting the filter and holder on the side. You also need to add water to the water container on the side.
What makes this air conditioner unique is that it operates very much like a traditional air conditioner that uses a compressor to cool the air. The difference is that traditional air conditioners must always be vented outside, or the hot air being vented will keep the room warm. This air conditioner uses water to cool the hot air, so that the air expelled is cooled down significantly, and it has minimal effect on the room temperature. I was very curious as to whether this new technology actually worked.
The problem with the product page is it talks a lot about it being plug-and-play with no venting then says you should vent the hot air out with an adapter and hose which is not included. This makes it very confusing since I can not vent out the hot air.
So does this technology actually work when you do NOT vent the air outside? It seemed from other reviews that it did not in many cases but I needed to find out for myself and I am very pleased to say this technology does indeed work.
One thing that is very important is to make sure you put water in the bottom of the machine and do not kink the hose that draws the water into the machine. You should be able to hear the water going into the machine when is it running in cool mode.
I put this air conditioner in this room on a very hot day. I closed the door and turned on the air conditioning mode. I was pleasantly surprised at how cool the air was coming out of the machine. I used an infrared thermometer, and the temperature was 62.4 degrees Fahrenheit, much cooler than the 90-degree room. The hot air output on the machine registered 74 degrees Fahrenheit.
After less than 30 minutes the temperature of the room dropped 5 degrees making it much more pleasant to be in. After an hour it was down to 79 degrees from 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
For another test I put the air conditioner in a very small bathroom with no windows and I closed the door. The room dropped 3 degrees Fahrenheit in 30 minutes and continued to drop.
Indeed, this air conditioner was working as I was hoping it would, and I was very pleasantly surprised.
I left this to run for 12 hours, and the water level barely went down at all, so I did not have to refill it.
The air conditioner has several different modes you can select with the remote or with the buttons on the top. You can select dehumidify, air cleaner, cool, and fan modes.
There is a timer you can use and you can also set the target humidity and temperature. You can adjust the fan speed as well.
As for the level of noise from this air conditioner, it is definitely lower than any window air conditioner I have ever heard.
Personally, I will just be using this to cool this room when it is very hot.
There is a feature that moves the blades at the output of the air conditioner so that it oscillates left and right for better coverage.
As I mentioned at the beginning this was a very hard review since I was aware of so many negative reviews and I always spend a lot more time on reviews when I think they may be negative. Fortunately, that was not the case with this and yes, it works as they describe and even exceeded my expectations.
The biggest negative for me is the user manual is kind of hard to follow as there are a lot of icons and buttons that can be confusing. The seller talks about this being great since it needs no venting then talks about how it should be venting which can be confusing and contradicting.
The small remote included does work well and allows you to remotely adjust the functions, which is perfect when you are in bed and don't want to get up to change settings.
I am pleased with this air conditioner. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews but my experience was not negative at all.
I do recommend this for anyone who, like me, has an area they want to cool and venting is not an option.
As for my rating this, I debated on 4 or 5 stars but despite some confusing information and the user manual issues, the unit does work as they claim and it has exceeded what I expected. For that reason, I will give this 5 stars.

- Reviewed in Canada on July 17, 2025I'd really want to recommend this more if it had double the cooling power, at this power level, it's really limited to very small rooms and expect a modest temperature difference (in my case consistent cooling around 2-3c below normal ambient).
The noise level at high fan speeds are a bit loud but at lower fan speeds it is acceptable in a small ish room.
Water container and different modes take more explanations:
- water from condensation accumulates in normal AC mode
- water is used in alternative mode
- Cooling is fully off in fan only mode
This is a pretty cool combination that would be a valuable addition if only the unit was overall more powerful especially at this price point where you can typically find more powerful portable AC units with hot air tube included in the package, whereas this one is going to require a DIY solution without additional purchase.
Another drawback is the placement of the water chamber, it should be forward facing so it's easier to remove/install. In its current position it's a pain to turn it around just to check water levels.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 16, 2025I had high hopes for this portable air conditioner. I've owned a number of standard portable AC units and they were always cumbersome to setup. Some needed only one venting hose, and some needed two, to grab fresh air from outside and also exhaust the warm air without adding the warm air back into the room. Those venting hoses were always very bulky and a hassle to install and remove, making using the AC unit a chore to use. Also, those AC units had limited effectiveness and failed to cool the entire room. I found myself having to stand right in front of the cool air vent in order to get any kind of relief from the heat.
I was looking forward to trying a more convenient solution that utilizes the natural cooling abilities of water, without needing any venting hoses, and had a built-in dehumidifier to remove any excess moisture from the air being cooled. That in itself would have been a game changer because it would have meant that the unit didn't need to be placed next to a window or a door like with regular portable AC units, thereby making a unit such as this even more versatile by being able to be placed anywhere in the room; even where there are no windows. However, this unit failed to meet my expectations.
After unboxing the unit and following the instructions to add water and turn it on, the unit made a loud noise like metal hitting something. The noise is constant and the unit does not offer any cooling at all. I'm not sure if I got a defective unit or if it was damaged during shipment, but it is certainly not doing what it is supposed to do; which is too bad because I had such high hopes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for small spaces and limited use
Living in Arizona, I'm always on the hunt for ways to beat the brutal summer heat, especially in specific areas or outdoors. The Victool Portable Mobile Air Conditioner, with its unique 1800 BTU capacity, promises of quiet operation, and "no venting required" design, definitely piqued my interest. At around $320, it's not a small investment, and its unorthodox approach warrants a closer look.
First off, the design: it's a compact, almost sleek unit, and I appreciate its lightweight (12.8kg) and plug-and-play nature. The inclusion of a water tank (3.5L) for its "waste heat evaporation technology" is what sets it apart, aiming to cool exhaust air internally. This means no big hose hanging out of a window, which is convenient for situations where traditional venting isn't an option. It can sit on the floor or a desktop, making it highly portable.
However, this is where the unorthodox design leads to some critical observations. The product description itself has conflicting information. It talks about being "direct-blowing" for open spaces like kitchens or offices, yet simultaneously suggests exhausting air outdoors for "confined spaces" to truly reduce temperature and humidity. And here's the kicker: it doesn't include the heat exhaust pipe or window kit. For a $300+ unit, this is a glaring omission. If the manufacturer itself suggests it might be necessary for effective cooling in a room, it should absolutely be included. This takes away from the functionality of the unit.
My experience aligns with this confusion. When I tried to use it in a closed room (around 150 sq ft), without venting the hot air it expels from the back, it indeed created a noticeable imbalance. One side felt cool, but the back of the unit blew warm air, ultimately making the room feel only marginally cooler overall. It dropped the temperature a few degrees, but certainly not to the 61°F it supposedly can be set to (a Canadian reviewer noted it only blows 68°F at its coldest). For real, sustained cooling in a contained space, you absolutely need to vent that hot air out, which means an extra purchase and hassle.
That said, where it does shine is in a very specific use case: direct, localized cooling in an open area. If you point it directly at yourself in a larger room, a garage, or even under a covered patio (where the ambient heat from the back can dissipate), it provides a pleasant, immediate cool breeze. The 38-44dB(A) quiet operation is impressive, making it far less disruptive than a traditional portable AC. The dehumidification feature is also a nice bonus, though again, without venting, that humidity just ends up in your room.
For me, the value is questionable for its price point if you're expecting it to effectively cool a room without buying additional venting equipment. It's not a true substitute for a traditional portable AC unit that properly exhausts hot air. It's more of a personal spot cooler for open areas, or an expensive option for a small, unvented space if you understand its limitations and are prepared to still deal with the warm exhaust. It's a unique concept, but the execution and marketing are a bit contradictory.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the cost
Verified PurchaseIt isn’t worth the cost. It doesn’t get the room cool, only cools immediate area, and not very well. It can’t be used on tile or uneven floors-it shuts off. It blows hot air out of the back so the design isn’t great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Portable Air Conditioner
Second Update: We ended up getting a second A/C to help cool the 650 sq. ft. room along with a window vent kit for each unit. They definitely work best with the vent kit (and don’t require water that way, I don’t think), but I love that we can still use them however we want. My dogs are still drawn to them as they’ll lay right in front to get cooled down. 😂 They’re a bit loud while watching TV, but we keep them at the back of the large bonus room instead (which is also by the windows if we want to vent them out), which seems to help.
First Update: While this A/C unit works well, it doesn’t cool down a room. I still like that it’s portable and easy to use, not vent outlet needed, etc., but it’s more like an upgraded fan vs. an air unit.
Original Review: I’m excited about this unit because it's not like one of the old-school A/C units that has to plug into power AND have a tube exhaust out a window. The instructions said I just had to add water and plug it in. Bingo! Works like a charm.
I got this unit because our upstairs 650 sq. ft. bonus room gets toasty in the summer, even with regular HVAC A/C running. (It only has one vent and one intake for the entire room, so it wasn’t set up super well. 🤦🏽♀️)
Rather than take on a full-blown construction project, I thought we’d try this handy little unit first. So far so good! My husband spends the most time in the bonus room. His only complaint about the portable unit is, it’s not OCD friendly. It only goes down to 61° (not an even 60°). 🙄
Pros include its convenience and portability. I love having to only add water and plug it in. Extremely low maintenance! It claims to be energy efficient, so we’ll see about that. It has a remote, so major brownie points there. My husband’s favorite feature is that the vents inside oscillate (move around to keep A/C flowing throughout the entire room)!
So far and overall, I’m very pleased with the quality and convenience vs. the price of this unit. I highly recommend it! (Even my dog loves it, and thinks it’s her own person cooling unit!)

3.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing. Read the listing carefully and see if you catch the conflicting information…
So I read the listing several times before ordering this and I thought I was making a good choice. Turns out I’m really disappointed in this product. The ad for this states that it is a “localized” cooler meant to do small spaces, not large areas. It also states that it will have adverse conditions in small spaces, making the area very humid and thereby making it feel much warmer. In the same ad it says to use it in large open spaces. It didn’t make sense, but I thought it was probably just a language barrier or translation issue.
I ordered this for use in my off grid summer cottage in Northern Michigan. It’s very remote so utilities are not available. I do have a couple of generators that I can run things such as this off of and so I figured it would be the perfect option for my cottage. Low energy use, quiet and very easy to cool a space according to the ad. Reality is it doesn’t quite work that well. I let it run for four hours, and it never dropped the temperature a single degree in my place. Nor did it make it feel any cooler in there. For reference, my cottage is pretty small. It is just under 800 ft.² but I closed all the doors to the bedrooms and the bathroom in an attempt to only cool down the kitchen and the living room area which comes in it just under 500 ft.². It couldn’t make that 500 square-foot space feel any cooler whatsoever. I don’t feel it functions the way it is advertised. I will say it was incredibly easy to assemble and put together. The ad stated it did not come with a vent kit, but I also felt that it might not be necessary. It turns out that it is necessary, and that may be why it wasn’t cooling my place down at all. I have since ordered a universal vent kit for it in hopes that that will improve the functionality of this unit. The problem is, I feel if the vent kit is actually necessary, it should be included with it and not something you have to order separately. That’s just another disappointing feature about this unit.
I struggled to even give this three stars because it’s an expensive unit and I don’t find it to be a value at all since it doesn’t work as it states it will. I figured I would give it the benefit of the doubt and give it three stars as opposed to the two that I initially wanted to give it. If the vent kit improves anything at all, I will come back and let you all know. Unfortunately, I feel it is just going to be more money wasted and not help at all.
