    Very engaging narrative about a period of recent history that is told in a way that takes you right back to the time it happened. A great insight into politics in Italy in the earlier part of the twentieth century and written with wit and wisdom. A really enjoyable read. It is a true story dealing with the ruse of fascism, as seen through the eyes of a young girl from a privileged family.

    I requested this book by Susana Agnelli; "Vestiamo alla Marinara" from amazon.com. The edition I ordered is in Italian. 鶹.com warned me that it might take quite some weeks for me to get it. Never the less the book came here to Copenhagen within 10 days. Thanks to 鶹.com.

    It is a compelling story. Susana Agnelli is a granddaughter of the founder of FIAT, the Italian automaker i Turin, Italy. In her book she describes her childhood and youth in this Italian family which is one of the closest to practical noblehood in today's republican Italy.

    But she was not just a child of a wealthy family. She wrote well and she optained a political career on her permises.

    The book was a tremendous bestseller in Italy.

    To all of you who are interested in post-war Italy, I advice: Do read it!
