Also works for slim-wristed fellows
As a guy with slimmer wrists, these might be marketed towards women, but they still work really well for me. Especially with this particular colour, it's practically impossible to tell that these are the women's model. They're less finicky to use than traditional weight lifting straps, and they're more comfortable too. I use these to do pullups and hanging leg raises after I've already used up all my grip strength on my hangboard and these have been working a total treat. In terms of the construction, I can tell that these will likely last me a very, very long time. There's a big steel buckle, and the velcro is wide and robust. It has reinforced box stitching in the high strain areas and the sewing quality looks to be very high. Given that they're made in the USA, I thought that it'd have a massive "Made in the USA" sticker or label on it somewhere, but it appears that isn't the case. The design is thankfully very clean and professional looking overall.

For lifting straps, I feel like I haven't come across a product that I really considered as close to perfect until this one. The comfort is there, the grip is there, and the durability is as well.

In terms of comfort, getting the proper sizing is really important---and this is something I think the listings really do poorly, because even though the product description does technically denote that this size is made for people with wrist circumference of around 7"-8", I think an image with the sizing description would really help especially in giving additional details. This is something the packaging does a bit better, where it writes down the adequate sizes if using a tape measurer (XS up to 6", SM 6-7", R/L 7-8"), it also has a bar chart you can line up your wrist over and see where it falls between--with the additional detail of "if you are on the line, size up". I think this applies well to the circumference too--if you measure 7" wrist circumference you are better off sizing up.

For those that only have a ruler on hand, here are the measurements: XS up to 5cm, SM from 5-5.9cm, R/L from 5.9cm to 7.1cm.

Having had the opportunity to try all the sizes, I can affirmatively say that sizing up makes wonders in the comfort. I happen to be exactly between two sizes and while the smaller size does fit, the padding feels a little firm and overall uncomfortable when applying heavier weights. On a larger and looser fit, the padding can slide a little higher on my wrist, resting on the base of my hand and the padding actually feels as if it were a much softer material... well padded and comfortable!

The grip material is really amazing as well. It is a double layer of a vinyl feeling type of material and gives some good comfort against knurled and smooth bars alike, grips without slippage at all, and thus far hasn't worn out which is impressive. I am definitely able to pull heavier weights than my hands normally would comfortably grip. The design does have a little thicker piece at the very end of the strap to help with ergonomic grips too, be it in push or pull mode. Per Versa Gripps, these aren't even their most beefy model but I think for most people other than the most intense power lifters, this is more than adequate enough.

Now there are just two little points I find could be a bit of an issue when considering whether or not to buy these:

First, the marketing. Yes, these are marketed to women almost exclusively, and the fact that most colors other than the black ones are more feminine colors shows this. The packaging and listing pictures also all show that they are for female athletes. Why! Unfortunately I do not have the Versa Gripp Pro (as opposed to these Fit Pro) to know if there are other shape/ergonomic differences between the two that are visually near identical, but those come in smaller sizes too and are a few bucks cheaper... making these feel like a bit of a pink tax. Regardless, even if you're a man and your wrist size fits these sizes, this is still going to work for you.

And the second point is the price. The brand itself is on the pricier side and the Pro series in particular. But considering it is made in the USA and with great fit/finish, really durable materials and comfortable performance to boot, it's an expensive investment for a wrist strap but justifiable in my opinion. I think another important takeaway is that despite the high price, as far as I can observe these Canadian prices are actually just the US MSRP converted to CAD, so we're not getting a disadvantageous pricing on this side of the border.

Overall, what do I think of these? Expensive, but from every aspect in using it all I can say is "but wow, I get it".

The VersaGrips color Midnight are absolutely fantastic, and the Midnight color is stunning! If you’re looking for a stylish and functional grip to enhance your workout routine, these are definitely worth considering.

    Design & Color:
Let’s start with the Midnight color — it’s just gorgeous. The deep, rich shade has a sleek, sophisticated vibe that stands out without being too flashy. It’s the perfect balance of bold and subtle, making these grips look as good as they perform. I get compliments every time I use them, and they definitely add a cool factor to my gym gear.

    Comfort & Performance:
In terms of performance, these grips are a game-changer. The padded support is great for both comfort and functionality. Whether you're lifting heavy or doing high-rep exercises, these grips provide a solid hold without cutting into your wrists. I’ve noticed less strain on my hands and wrists, and more control over the weights I’m lifting.

    Durability:
The material is incredibly durable. Despite the sleek look, the grips are built to withstand heavy use and maintain their performance. I’ve used them in multiple types of workouts – from lifting to functional training – and they hold up really well. There’s no sign of wear, and they’re just as effective after several months of use.

    Overall:
I’m genuinely impressed with the VersaGrips Midnight. The combination of aesthetics, comfort, and functionality makes them a must-have for anyone serious about their training. Plus, the Midnight color really adds a touch of elegance to my workout gear. Highly recommend for anyone looking to level up their lifting game in style!

I've been having trouble with my forearms giving out during my back workouts specifically, with the heavy rows and lat pull downs after pull ups, my forearms get very fatigued and i have to lower the weight even though my back still has my energy.

I've used different straps for years, and they only slightly help, while also being annoying to unstrap and tighten/untighten for each set.

After using these versa grips, there is a noticeable benefit to my forearms being able to last longer during my back days. I would say they give my forearms a 15-25% boost depending on the exercise and I am very surprised with their effectiveness. Only using them for back day as that's when my forearms have fatigue issues, however these have become a must use during back days from now on. Great tool to add to the workout Arsenal!

I got this for my partner since she's gotten rather avidly into lifting and doing more pull up bar exercises, but still wants to minimize getting calluses. These grips have worked great. They fit well for the most part, but she did find it a bit stiff on the area along the radial side of the wrist.

Make sure to follow their sizing guide and measure your wrist's circumference directly over the wrist bone. For reference, my partner has an exactly 6" wrist circumference which is indicated to be either X-Small (5” – 6") or Small (6” – 7”); they recommend to size up if you're on the "line" like she is, and she agrees as it definitely would've been too small otherwise.

The material is decently comfortable and it's simple to slip on and off. No funky odours like some other grips we've tried in the past.

At $115, it's very expensive compared to other alternatives available on 鶹. I wouldn't recommend getting these unless you're going to be very frequently using these - if you're exercising casually (i.e. infrequently), then just get a cheaper pair.

My girlfriend has been using these for her workouts, and she is really impressed with the grip and support they offer. They help her lift heavier without worrying about her grip giving out first, which has boosted her confidence in the gym. The padding around the wrist is softer than other lifting straps she has tried, so there is no digging in, even on heavier sets. The grip length is just right, giving her plenty of control without feeling too bulky.

The only minor complaint she has is that they take a few sessions to break in properly, but once they do, they feel like second nature. Overall, they have made a big difference to her training, and she would not go back to lifting without them.

    4 out of 5.

I also have the lilac colour of these, and the midnight is great too, I match my outfits with it. Against my old lifting straps, they’re much more comfortable and have a secure grip without digging into my wrists. The padding has just enough support without feeling bulky or restrictive, I love using them for deadlifts and rows. They’re also quick to wrap and release, which makes transitions between sets much smoother.

The quality feels solid, and they hold up well under heavy lifting. Sizing runs small, so maybe order up, it’s worth checking the measurements carefully. They do take a few sessions to break in, but once they mould to your wrists, they feel natural to use. If grip strength is limiting your lifts, these are definitely worth investing in.

These have great build quality and have become a staple in my gym routine, I'm a female beginner working at the gym and they're great for pull-up training while my grip strength is still weak.

They'd be easy to use for everyone from a beginner to an athlete. The foam stops the bar from digging into my hands and all of the materials and stitching are well-made and sturdy.

I find these comfortable to wear and while they're fairly expensive I do think they're worth the price.
