    The one little thing is, and I guess it's kind of obvious. The magnet likes to attach to all the metal things as you're trying to point it in to get to whatever bolt or tool you lost.... its a bit annoying and makes me wish there was a way to turn the magnetism on/off.

    The light can be handy, not sure how long it will last especially if it accidentally gets left on.

    The wire mesh wrap along the length of the wire tool prevents it from kinking and makes it very sturdy. The plastic cap at the end of the tool protects the metal claws when retracted, and has a light so you can view your target and a small magnet to assist in picking up nails, bolts or nuts. For a few months I had been exasperated by a "check filter" warning light on my dryer, and despite cleaning the filter and pulling off the dryer vent hose and cleaning it could not get the light to go off. Reaching down below the air filter with a bottle brush I could remove some lint, but couldn't see well enough to know what was still in there. With this tool, one look with the light was enough to show me that huge wads of lint were blocking the area under the filter leading to the vent hose. It took multiple grabs to get it all, but now I know how to get it clean! Well worth every penny.
