After watching news programs and reading articles regarding remote entry and keyless start functions and how easy they are to steal (CBC Marketplace, Donut Media, Global BC News) I was concerned about the security of my vehicle. The CBC Marketplace program even featured a Honda vehicle with the exact same system as my own car. Another concern I have with remote entry is if you press and hold a certain button configuration on the remote, all the windows and sunroof will open. This had happened to me. Unfortunately it was during an atmospheric river which brought 165mm rain in a 24 hour period. I needed something to protect my vehicle. Unlike the fabric envelope/bag type faraday blockers, this one seems to work quite well. The fact that the lid covers the top by a good 1.25 inches and it is metal construction does an excellent job in blocking the radio signal. It is bulky, but out of necessity. It is able to hold my remote (Honda), tag and small key ring I use to hold a shopping cart token. I modified it by adding a Case Mate (Pelican) AirTag holder in the (unlikely, but possible) event I misplace or lose the case. This will enable anyone who finds it to get in touch with me. It adds a bit more bulk, but gives added peace of mind. I will update my review in a couple of months to see how well it lasts and functions, but so far it lives up to my expectations. Build quality seems quite good so I am not expecting any issues. If you have a newer car with remote start/entry/keyless start, I highly recommend this product.

    I have 2 Alpha Shield VONETTI boxes: Originale and Bello. In my personal experience they are the only products that not just promise but actually blok the car key signal at 100%. They are beatifull, fit nicely into palm of my small hand, light (82g and 102g respectively), comfortable in use, and indestructible.

    I was initially misled by several reviews that described VONETTI boxes as bulky and too expensive, and suggested Faraday Pouches as a much more economical and practical alternative. Thus I first purchased 鶹 Bestseller - Faraday Pouch for Car Keys, ASIN B0B4DCLY87, which I returned for the full refund after about a week for the following reasons:

    1. The pouch leaked the signal and allowed to start the car when placed next to the start button.

    2. The size of the small pouch was 8cm x 11.4cm vs. Vonetti's Alpha Shield Originale 4.8cm x 8.6cm. VONNETI - wins. The depth of the pouch, after you put the car key into it, is quite comparable with VONNETI also. The VONNETI Bello, which is about 1cm longer than the VONNETI Originale, also easily wins the size comparison and gives you some extra interior space. And while it's true that I don't carry a Vonetti in my pocket, I couldn't carry the pouch in my pocket either.

    3. I paid for the pouch $21.46. Many reviews report that all fabric based pouches completely stop blocking the signal after about 5-6 months of use. So I would have to buy it again and again and again. Yes, I paid for Alpha Shield Originale $67.79 but I will be using it for years to come.

    IMHO VONETTI is an absolute winner in all aspects. Great product.

    For sure it will block rfid as the top piece slides down onto the precision fit base (very, very tight fit that I hope will loosen over time). Don’t know why this company hasn’t made a metal Zippo lighter style case. It makes far more sense to provide something that can be opened with one hand, versus absolutely requiring two. My vehicle FOB didn’t fit the original size, ordered the grande size to try.

    Nachdem ich meinen Schlüssel lange in Aluminiumfolie eingepackt habe, dies mir aber mit der Zeit auf die Nerven ging, habe ich mich nach einer besseren Lösung umgesehen.
    Ich habe mir viele Produkte angesehen, jedoch war ich nur von diesem Produkt überzeugt und habe mir diesen dann auch bestellt.
    Die Dose erfüllt voll und ganz ihren Zweck. Sogar wenn man direkt am Fahrzeug steht lässt es sich nicht mehr öffnen.
    Ausserdem ist die Dose gut verarbeitet, sieht gut aus und passt auch in die Hosentasche.
    Innen ist sie weich ausgepolstert. Diese soll den Autoschlüssel vor Beschädigung sowie vor lästigem klappern schützen. Dies ist nicht hundertprozentig gewährleistet, jedoch ist das für mich nicht so schlimm weil die Dose einfach ihren Zweck erfüllt.
    Der Preis ist zwar etwas hoch aber ich glaube nicht dass eine günstigere Variante ihren Zweck so erfüllt wie diese Dose.
